Why insulin OHA(which increases insulin) given when there is already insulin resistance?? In type2 DM

In type -2 either insulin resistance or very low amount of insulin is formed…. But yes insulin is forming in this unlike type-1 in which there is no insulin formation at all so , we give INSULIN or ORal Hypoglycaemic drugs ACCORDINGLY !!!
