Excellent Video! Sorry for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Patlarny Diabetes Ruins Principle (just google it)? It is a good one of a kind product for destroying diabetes minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my close friend Aubrey at last got excellent success with it.

Any idea which group would help with putting on muscle? I'm a 48 year old type 2 on metformin, 1750mgs daily. Last 4 a1c's have been 5.9. Have gone from 205 muscular pounds to 170 since diagnosis. Very depressing.

*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*

Do random blood glucose test, fasting blood glu and 2hours post prandial plasa glucose test and urine glucose threshold test, if 2 or more of theses test are heigher than normal by a large difference then it's diabetes.. But remember it's normal and even healthy to urinate the same ammount of water it's not always polyurea, plus they are many other syptoms, plus it can occur in young age if it's hereditary, but she is mostlirly healthy anf free of diabetes

I was glad to see you had this already corrected in the comments, as I almost choked on my lunch when I heard this ^^ Another thing I noticed: I think the main insuline-independent glucose transporter in HUMAN pancreatic cells is GLUT-1 instead of GLUT-2, which is the main transporter prevalent in mice and rats. Thank you so much for your videos!!!

You have made pharmacology so much easier and fun to learn. I only seem to enjoy pharmacology topics covered by your videos. Your videos are by far the best and in fact you have set the standard so high that if I cant find one covered by you, I just stop looking and go for the long and boring method of reading page after page of incoherent and pointlessly long chapters. Thank you for the videos and hope you can keep up the good work.

I may be a paranoid schizophrenic taking medications, but I'm lucky I have the cognitive power and mental stability (thanks to medication) to further understand my weakness. Olanzapine has been a miracle for me, but my sugar addiction is a bigger problem than I thought. This video (and others; I'm on a binge) help me understand so much about my own body and prescribed drugs. It further encourages me to trust my doctor and 'Big Pharma'. Thank you so much for this condensed, visualized information. God bless you.

I've been trying to wrap my head around all these medications for the last two weeks. This made it click, I like actually being able to see the visual representation of the mechanism of action, and then see where the drugs step in to interfere. This is a good resource. I did have to do a deeper dive on Metformin though.

Thank you for your kind words and feedback. I'm glad to hear that my videos have been helpful in expanding your knowledge base. I understand that memorizing drug names can be a challenge, and I appreciate your suggestion of incorporating drug name mnemonics. While I don't typically include them in my videos, there are many resources available online that provide helpful memory aids for drug names. These can be particularly useful for memorizing long lists of medications or for differentiating between similar-sounding drug names. Gluconize is a dietary supplement marketed as a natural alternative to synthetic glucose tablets for treating hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). It contains a blend of natural ingredients, including dextrose, which is a type of sugar that can rapidly raise blood sugar levels. It may be beneficial for individuals with diabetes or other medical conditions that can cause hypoglycemia, although it's always essential to consult with a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements or making changes to your medication regimen.

Vitamin B12 and diabetic medicines are two separate types of treatments that may be prescribed for individuals with diabetes. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in the functioning of the nervous system, the production of red blood cells, and the metabolism of energy from food. Some studies have suggested that individuals with diabetes may have an increased risk of vitamin B12 deficiency, which could lead to symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet. Diabetic medicines, on the other hand, are medications that are used to help control blood sugar levels in individuals with diabetes. There are several different types of diabetic medicines, including insulin, which is a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels, and oral medications such as metformin, sulfonylureas, and thiazolidinediones. While there is no direct interaction between vitamin B12 and diabetic medicines, it is important for individuals with diabetes to make sure they are getting enough vitamin B12 in their diet or through supplements, as a deficiency can lead to symptoms that may worsen their diabetes control. Additionally, some diabetic medicines may affect the absorption or metabolism of vitamin B12, so it is important to discuss any concerns with a healthcare provider.
