When I watched Smiley I thought it was a movie (minor brain dysfunction that perhaps sleep may cure), and ended bingeing the whole thing instead of sleeping. 😅💜 It's such a great show, and I'm really looking forward to watching the rest of your reactions to it! About they/them, genders and parenting: I'm from Norway, but I'm indigenous Sámi/Saami & our languages don't have gendered pronouns at all. Because in our culture, gender is irrelevant. (Our decendant language Finnish/Suomen doesn't have gendered pronouns either.) Before "civilisation" was forced upon us, our clothes were gender neutral too - if we planned to meet new people we put on gender specific shoe laces/bands. Imagine all the checking out people would do, all openly. 😏😎 It makes me really happy that more people are realising that what's between our big toes isn't relevant to who we are as individuals, it's just relevant to our love lives.

I have to say, that I admire Spain for its gender policies. Like, there's no gender based advertising allowed. No pink kitchen for kids, no blue hammers for boys and so on in ads. I really do like that. They try to break these stereotypes

Loved your reaction as always ❤. About the discussion about agreeing more with someone of the 2 I noticed something very fascinating. I have made my friends watch the show and I have discovered that the one that feel more insecure about their looks tend to agree more with Bruno while the others tend to agree more with Alex. Very cool, usually film/series are made so much so that there is someone who generally is recognised as the wrong one and the other as the right one. This show was able to fit into both of the prospective.
