Oh Jayden. Watching your video during this pandemic make me remember how much i want to fly again with Cathay Dragon. I flew them once before for HKGFUK , their comfort are almost same to CX. Now, KA no longer fly to KUL but CX is take over. If only i can fly to HKG with them soon..

Flew both Cathay Dragon & Cathay Pacific from KUL-HKG-YVR and we had immaculate services, nice meals (including great ice cream) and wonderful smiles from cabin crews 👍🏻 Would fly with them again in future.

The meal you and your Mum had at the Pier lounge was sensational, both the Western and Chinese breakfasts looked like a 5 star restaurant, the on-board breakfast didn't look appealing at all but honestly l appreciate an actual meal being given and full credit to Airlines that offer a hot meal. Another Aussie Pilot👍. Your Mum was so cute with the pillows. Nice review always enjoy your detailed trip reports.

Great video! I'm still confusing the differences between Cathay Pacific and Dragon, I found that they both serve as full service carrier, serving meals, IFE, widebody fleets and etc. Im wondering the purpose of this company makes this separate kind of airline.

You are absolutely right sir, but you see Dragon more on short haul (2nd city) flights and Cathay on major short haul/ long haul flights. They were different companies many years ago, Cathay Pacific bought Dragonair around 15 years ago and then renamed Dragonair to Cathay Dragon just 2 years ago :D Thank you for watching!

Great video! I just flew back to HKG from FUK this evening on a similar aircraft. I love the seats, good width, good recline and good legroom for my 183cm frame. The little tray underneath the screen is super handy. The screen is super responsive, which makes a change from my CX B773 flight to CTS earlier. I was prodding the screen many times before it responded! The contents was fine, enough for most people to find something to watch, I think. I watched an Indian film and a TV documentary, which entertained me right to pulling up to the gate! The meal I had was fish pasta which tasted good. Overall, a very decent flight indeed. Oh, and was it your mum who filmed the dining room in the The Wing F lounge? You kind of had to duck your head to be out of the screen, which was quite funny 😂

Oh CX B773 is a nono for me. Either old seats or narrow seats haha. After watching Searching I just listened to music. Yes my mum filmed the dining room for me haha, she had a better view :) Thanks Wayne!!

@@JaydenWong Yup, the old fixed back seats in economy are dreadful on the 773. Cushioning non existent and you can feel every metal part of the structure!! Flew that once to LHR and never again. Only saving grace for them is that the seat width and legroom are good, otherwise, a big nono!😊

This must be a busy route. Recently Cathay Dragon also opened a new route to Medan, Indonesia - sadly they're using A320 instead of A330.

Thanks for watching! My mother is a oneworld emerald member (Qantas platinum), and under oneworld policy, she can enter any oneworld first class lounge (ie. Malaysia Airlines First class lounge) with that card whenever she flies on a oneworld airline flight :D

I suppose you receive nice and courtesy services because of your mun flying status. As a normal and economy passenger, well, Cathay service were only acceptable and average. Anyway thanks for your nice video.

haha although we were sitting together, nah! On my return trip, mum once again received some nice treatment eg. a bottle of water. If I was a normal no status passenger I wouldn't be pleased, not because of someone getting water and I don't ...
