The fact that the conversations here feel so natural is honestly uncanny. The stuttering, the fact that some of them actually talk over one another in some moments and the subtle emotes, like how Alan slightly smirks when calling out Charlie for when he flinches with one of the citizens of Brazil. Gives the show a sense of realism, despite the over the top happenings that go on in this universe.

I think the fact that Zach uses his regular voice for Charlie and Michael only slightly changes his voice for Pim and Alan makes it way easier to make the dialogue sound natural, which really helps so the dialogue never feels forced.

I think the plane crash is less of a joke and more of a foreshadowing for the next episode. The plane in the background crashes, causing the airport to cancel all outgoing flights for a while, leaving the boys stuck there in Brazil with no hotel and no way out.

Blue Bart Simpson is almost a joke within a joke. I'd bet money that they made him blue skinned because in the 90s all the Simpsons merch had Bart in a blue shirt instead of orange. I think it was a thing to fight bootlegging, like if your Bart looked exactly like the show it wasn't official merch lol

not true, the merch was based off early model sheets which were finalized after the merch was in production. Bart's shirt was changed from blue to orange, but it was far too late to make the change on the merch

About the last scene (the airplane one) i think it's a reference to the Lufthansa 527, an airplane that crashed against one of Rio de Janeiro's mountains in 1979. I mean, they also are in an airport of a BEACH CITY, and the only beach city in Brazil with an international airport (Aeroporto Santos-Dumont) is Rio de Janeiro.

I know complimenting the realism of the conversations in this show isn't anything new by now. It's astounding how off all of these are 1. That first one clearly looks a lot more like Smithers than Bart 2. The TV is just running the in-universe Mr. Frog's show. The yellow thing is a bug from that show, not a banana. It's unlikely to be a reference to anything else. 3. Not every freaking plane crash ever is a 9/11 reference jesus christ. It's an unpopulated mountain with a single peak, with the plane clearly crashing down almost vertically. There's nothing that parallels 9/11 other than "plane crash".
