I get that stopping your work to help a costumer is obnoxious, but the guy threaten the costumer, after given a VERY valid concern he berated the costumer, then obviously after being called justifiybly an asshole, he acts all offended about it. i think the people siding against allan are working under an awful lot of assumptions and make a lot of excuses for the dude solely because he's a retail worker. i worked walmart for 4 years so I understand but still, armso was an asshole from the word go and it seems very likely with his erratic behavior that he was at the psych ward to begin with for very valid reasons, and the boss is just fed up with his crap.

I think it depends. The fewer the employees, the more like those few employees are to be overworked and aggressive in my experience. This placed seems to be based on Staples, which is kinda known for being a bad place to work. Still not Allen's fault necessarily, though.
