I really like the unedited videos. My son and I were supposed to travel to Japan last spring, and we were really disappointed that we couldn't go. Watching your videos, both here and on TabiEats, helped us stay positive (and added to our list of things we want to see and do!). I know what you mean about the depression. I work on the front lines of healthcare in the US, and this year has been brutal. This will pass - might be a year or so before it does - but it will. Once it is over, all the little things in life we took for granted before will be cherished moments, and life will be that much sweeter. Stay strong!

Coffee and some sweet breakfast pastry are fine until lunch or later. Anything heavier or more complex in flavor that early in the day would be wasted on still sleepy taste receptors. I used to love the Big Breakfast but it sure didn't love me. Always wound up with a tummy ache for several hours afterwards. These days, I make my own version to enjoy as a late lunch without any stomach upset at all.

McDonalds here in the US (not in airports or other "convenience" locations where prices are jacked up) is NOT that cheap. Unless you get dollar menu size... But a meal is $8-10. And Uber delivery is free for some places but up to $6 at some places. So not only does McDonalds Japan serve better quality food, but it's cheaper and can get to you cheaper -__-

There is a chicken mcmuffin sandwich which I love and I also enjoy the hashbrowns, but I haven't had breakfast at McD in a while. Your diet shouldn't focus on your weight, rather on how you feel and your health. But I understand that you may have personal or society-driven goals. Personally I would often not have breakfast if my meds didn't demand I take them on an non-empty stomach so it's been forcing me to at least drink tea or coffee in the morning...now I really enjoy making breakfast, sometimes I make wraps and I have some strawberries or melon if there are any. The US version comes with a biscuit instead of an English Muffin, but maybe I can substitute one for the other? I've never tried doing that. I'll get this every so often if I have time in the mornings. I'm having trouble getting over how much more expensive it is here in the US though. ¥1116 (which at the moment is less than $10) for the big breakfast, the tea (which isn't available in the US, I love Earl Grey), and delivery seems incredibly inexpensive...and checking right now, it's less than half what I would pay if I wanted to have the equivalent meal delivered to me :( It's probably a good thing that Ubereats and similar services are so expensive here. It keeps me from over eating xD
