Hey, just wanted to note they said Loki ult specifically doesn’t cripple or lock on yet simply because they don’t have those effects coded in Smite 2 yet so they just don’t exist, so I would definitely assume it’ll be added asap

Thanks for the video Mast! Really glad youre having fun with it, I stopped playing Smite a long time ago, mainly just watch you and 1 other channel for my Moba fix, but Ive been trying to get back into gaming lately and I might get Smite 2 when it becomes always playable. It's funny I thought the jumps looked a bit silly compared to Smite 1 (which looked silly on their own anyway) but Mast finding frolic tech for Loki jump cements that as fact. Also randomly saying Metal Gear quotes is always funny. Hey, you're pretty good.

You can proc on items that require ability hits with cernunnos summer stance. Meaning that you can use gem of isolation with his basic attacks

Mast if you right click your abilities when you hover over them you get the detailed stats.

Judging by the icon in your buff bar, it seems picking up their blight 1 extended the duration of your existing blight 2. That might of course just be a bug, no idea what the intended/actual effect is

I might be bias because I played League of Legends for about 10 years, but I am glad they switched the item system up a bit for Smite 2. Trying to learn the items for Smite was and is still very hard. (for me at least) I was getting exhausted of leagues continued problems so I decided to switch from LoL to Smite. I have been having a blast and I am very excited for Smite 2! Thank you for the videos, I have been pseudo learning Conquest through your videos!

Currently cooldown is diminishing, 25 is 20% for the first points. ie. a 90 second cooldown with 45 CDR points would be about 62 seconds. 90*(100/(100+45))

I haaaaated it when league changed to some esoteric formula you have to calculate yourself to understand and I hope the smite change doesn't last. I can figure out how much 20% of 10 seconds is. I don't want to figure out how much 20 more cool down tokens plus my current 10 cool down tokens translates to 1.7 more seconds of cooldown reduction for a 10 second ability, up from .9 seconds. Like who is this change for? They just made evaluating the items more difficult for literally everybody when mid game and looking for the next item.

​@@eewweeppkk The formula is to always have 1 point be 1% effective cooldown. They had the same thing for damage reduction. So something with 45 CDR is still better than something with 40 CDR. 100 points = 50% is the easy way to look at it. As for why it's done, balancing reasons. The problem with percentage values is that they become more rewarding the more you have. So if you have two 20% CDR items, the second item will reduce your CDs far more than the first item will from a percentage standpoint. Because now you're working with 0.8, yet you're removing 0.2. So the second item has 0.2 / 0.8 effectiveness, or 25% cooldown reduction in reality. So there's why. Oh, and for easy maths, 66 points is roughly equivalent to 40% CDR.

One thing concerne me, I know you are stupidly ahead. Ive seen it in every other game with other streamers aswell. But Ive notice that stats really does matter more here than in smite. I think hirez should look at stats and reduce scaling per lvl here for hp, autos and abilites.
