I don't think death animations are needed, I think the death effect looks good. Let's the team focus on making more animations for gods for now, they can always retroactively add them later as Smite 2 gets more successful

As a support main I really would like to play yemoja if her ult was better. I wish that the ability could be canceled while the waterwalls are up so that I could deal the damage + CC more quickly and protect my team members. Like Sobek can for example.

Uhm ... for arachne I would prefer they would take their time and recreate her from scratch (design included, she looks like a marvel spider lady mutant with 0 monster like features, compared to her old version that was a downgrade for me). Also that they recreate her kit bcs although she may be broken (at some point) she is BY FARE the most BORING assassin in the game, like she is an adc in melee range 😑, again compared to her old vesion (downgrade)^10. As an arachne main who literally got to know smite through her I would really, REALLY appreciate if they rework her from 0 and not just copy paste her and add a few details like for the rest of the gods we've seen up to today (no hate whatsoever just want my main go be special like the rest of you 😅).

​@@Evelusive-h9c I agree 100%. Her gameplay is completely outdated. I believe they should make her 2 a passive. 3 consecutive attacks on an enemy god will stun them, with a cooldown of course. That really sells the fantasy that she weaves her web and the enemies get stuck. Additionally, they should also keep her 3 with perhaps a new twist. The rest of her kit should change. What if her ult webbed the entire map or at least a big area (like how the 3 webs a line in front of her) for some seconds?

Everything I said about smite 2 on announcement has come true, mixed reviews, horrible monitization, and it STILL looks nearly identical. It's clear "Smite 2" if you can even call it that, is a cash grab reset designed to get you to buy the God pack and whale out on skins again. Dropped both games, Hi-rez closed by 2027

The mixed reviews of an ALPHA don't mean much when the people crying are people like you who intentionally ignore the very obvious improvements in Smite 2. It isn't identical. The animations and graphics are very obviously improved. Crying over having to spend another 30 dollars for the god pack 11 years later is actually pathetic. You have commented on like 5 videos because you are a hater and creating artificial drama. If you truly dropped the games, just leave instead of leaving fake community involvement.

you know what i would really love this game if it has a shooter-like mechanic lookin at valve's Deadlock Now it actually made me think that this type of moba is what i am attracted to ... the shooter one.. i know in smite you have to aim and all but its all relying on the "range" you actually do nothing to the enemy if you are just one inch out of the range why not make it infinite range but you deal less and less damage when the ranger increases ? where it relies now on how precise you are in aiming and reading the enemy's movement. i know this might be hard to accomplish and might not work at all but the game mechanic made me feel weird where i have to look down to see my range (as a beginner) instead of looking at the enemy and shooting them In the end these are just my thoughts, i still love this game and support it ❤

@filozof90 they could transfer the skins over.... as the gods are there. There is a hades skin I use that has floating skulls around it, Elvis Bacchus Kumbakarna yeti... the skins on 2 aside of biker Bacchus which I have cuz gf for whatever reason bought me the 100$ version of smite which I feel bad because I would've just had the free to play version but in love of smite 1 I bought so many skins knowing it was supporting the game and the company now Civilization and gta and smite 1 are all I play on console. I prefer warships on PC mostly. But maybe not forever but with all the time and money I invested.... I'm not investing anything in smite 2, sorry I'm not as funny as it is putting deathbringer on yimir and clapping someone in 3 hits is... not fir me. Their skin choices kinda suck... sure I have over 300k in legacy gems from all I spent but the skins I want aren't even there.. only skin I like on 2 is biker Bacchus I'd rather have the stoner/hippy Bacchus or Elvis personally

I just wish people stopped crying about skins. If you prefer a cosmetic over a better gameplay and mechanics, then you should just buy some wallpapers and enjoy those visual cosmetics. It's boring to still see people crying over their skins and sabotaging Smite 2 just because they're like kids who don't want to let go their favorite toy from when they were babies. You spent a lot on Smite 1, what did you expect? Smite 1 to be forever? Or hirez wasting everyone's time just to port your skins? Nah, I'd rather prefer leave those skins behind and get a better version of the game, even if some people just stay on Smite 1 while it shuts down its servers.
