I kinda thought the same thing, but now I kinda want to test it. Maybe the effect of Osiris's ult makes it so that Khumba can't gain life when he wakes up, thus he dies no matter what? The same applies to Kali's ult, HR reduces her up to 15% health so maybe... *shrugs* just speculation

One criticism though Hi-Rez, the thumbnail of this video isn't very good. Using an old model like Zeus isn't really going to attract Non-Smite fans to click. Great video though !

I play Smite because all the characters are based on mythology. When I googled Gods, each time a SMITE video popped up. That was how they recruited me. I like when players can just game and subconsciously learn something. Same reason I love Age of Empires, Tomb Raider, God of War, Assasins's Creed etc.

Oh Smite... I've played a couple of games a year ago... I've stopped playing since I had a horrible computer... Nowadays, I got few of my friends, who were never a fan of MOBAs, to try out Smite, they all loved it... One of them became a lot better than me lol

Griff I've been playing for at least two years now, possibly more. I bought the God pack about a week after I started playing and my best friend said, "Are you sure about that? You should only buy the package if you KNOW you'll be playing this game a long time from now." I didn't know I would be playing this long as I'm not clairvoyant, but when I first played this game I knew it was something special. I still remember the first god I ever bought with Favor (Anubis). I keep trying to get my friend into it, but he's been roped in by League.

I like how they presented it in it's true form. It is better than lol in some ways , but it will never get to Dota 2. Smite provide us with third person mode , Dota is the most balanced and LoL ...well it has cartoonish graphic? And yeah i played all three games so i feel like i can say something like this. And big applause for Hi-Rez for hard working on their game! Great job compared to beta. Great job!

The reason they chose Thor, Herules, and Posieden as the only names they listed specifically is because they're recognizable from recent movies. People will know about Thor, Hercules, and "release the Kraken" references.

Thinking of trying this game but I got only one question: Do I need a really good computer to run it? Like has anyone experienced a lot of lag with it during gameplay? Because I can run LoL really smoothly but I don't know for this...

Since the game is free (and really enjoyable), go download it and try it out. If it seems like your computer can't handle the game, you just uninstall it. :) My computer is pretty bad, but with the right graphic setup, i still manage to play with 60FPS at almost all times.

+Son Of Montreal I know this is an old post but in case many more will probably ask the similar question again and again, I am replying here. The answer is, no you DO NOT need a fancy PC to play this game. This game use Unreal 3 engine which is pretty mature (or maybe a bit outdated) in maximizing the visual effect with minimum hardware consumption. Do notice that more and more mobile games are using Unreal 3 engines now and if a handhold device (like a cell phone) can handle this level of graphics, there is no way your PC can't - unless you got an antique PC from 10 years ago. And to address the other issue, if you are worried about the lag, it is most likely a problem of your internet connection, not your PC. So go ahead and upgrade your internet plan before playing any online games, I guess.

As you've already been told, smite has actually gained a lot of players. One of my favorite things to look at is the number of viewers with each successive patchnotes stream on twitch. In the last one, we broke 13,000 viewers, which was a fantastic new record!

Thor is basically the cover god and mascot of Smite along with Zues, hence why the smite logo is a Lightning Bolt
