It is very disappointing that they left out a very important part of her lore. She drank the blood of Raktabija to prevent him from making any more clones, which had been used in her original set of abilities (Syphon Blood, which was very fitting for her, but was replaced with Incense). The lore provided for her honestly doesn't explain WHY she is the Goddess of Destruction, which is unfortunate. Now she seems a bit OP. And by "a bit" I mean a lot considering how much HP she restored after defeating Anubis. Still curious as to why her abilities were changed. Can't say I'm overly fond of them, but, whatever. She's still pretty cool but I'd never play as her.

Without using her ult.

She has every good tool for ganking in an easy to use form rather than a set that may be missing one or require a higher level of skill. Some gods are op when you learn the tricks of using their abilities right but useless if you don't know how to do them right, Kali is nearly impossible to play wrong and has a low skill ceiling to high efficacy. Not terribly OP, just mildly.

I don't know. I haven't played her yet but her kit doesn't have nearly the same utility as many other assassins. Take Mercury, Thanatos and Thor for example. All of them have ults that can take them an extremely long distance away and stun/nuke at the same time, allowing them to make fast, easy and effective ganks, or quick retreats. Kali, on the other hand, has a jump, a nuke, a stun and a death immune ultimate. If you get right down to it, her kit is very similar to a god like Apollo's. It has other nuances that distinguish it from apollo's of course, but at a fundamental level they're roughly the same. Of course, she's lacking apollo's ability to split push, but I think her passive is excellent enough to make up for the deficiency in the rest of her kit. To be honest, she seems pretty balanced to me.

Btw with this rework I just saw she is not op except maybe that ult. She is much more skill shot based seeing as her old w was a cone infront now its more aim and time. i find it as a buff mainly because, she has a stun now, that passive seems useful, the already strong ultimate makes her invincible, and she finally has a leap thing that most assassins have. im happy she got this buff but i am sorry for the players that are used to her old self like you, sorry :P

Well, you got a point, since Hinduism is still in practice and the deities are worshiped in large numbers unlike any other religions and cultures. But as long as they are portrayed in a good way. They could have used (mostly) legendary heroes or demigods and not the major deities (or many be just minor deities like Agni, Indra, etc) as you have mentioned. but think of these "characters" are based off or inspired of those hindu deities, and not the exactly the same as we know. I rather see them as independent game characters and never equate them or see them as same as our deities.
