If I remember correctly, in the book The Once and Future King, Merlin explains that he moves through time backwards, being born old and progressively becoming younger. I think the joke here is that the older he looks, the younger he actually is.

Havent played Smite for 4 years now. (started in 2015) Got nostalgic seeing all of these characters again and some emotions I felt back in the day when I would play as them or against them. Ratatoskr was probably my hated character, never learned how to play as him and always got wrecked by people playing as him. Felt funny seeing him on this video and just remembering the rage I felt back when he was released, EVERYONE hated him :D Good to see the game is still alive and well :)
