It's super expensive and normally not too good unless you get at least 2 crit items so it's more reliable to build pen and power

Do you know how to counter basic attack gods so adc and some junglers because I find it hard against someone like ne zha as serquet

I find Serqet really good against gods with basic attacks because you can CC chain them, hit your damage and then run away. Typically you just use your 2-1 or 2-1-4 combo and then escape with your 3 before they get much auto attack damage back

I used to build crit serqet. Malice, death bringer and I used to absolutely rape. Not done it lately and I've been building more pen wise and it's not been exactly great.

Typically pen and power is better because you need 2+ crit items for it to be very effective

It still isnt worth to put 2 or 3 of your item slots into crit usually. Especially since at any high level of play you can't really even get away with not building defense. And if you have defense and multiple crit items and your boots then where are you gonna get your power and pen? I guess titans bane but then you just dont have cdr unless you only buy defense with cooldown which isnt the best option sometimes. Crit just isnt optimal.

That's not how math works. 45% scaling regardless of number of hits is still 45% scaling. Rather because of the number of hits the lower than typical scaling for a physical ability is roughly equivalent to damage dealing ability's from other god's kits. 3 * 100(1.45) = 300(1.45) Not that you care.

Not sure what you're talking about, the damage (and scaling) is applied for each separate hit of Serqet's dash so if you land 3 hits of the dash (as you should be) that's 135% of your physical power as bonus damage

The power scaling doesn't multiply into the base damage - it's applied to Mast's physical power. 45% scaling in smite means that you get + 0.45 per hit, which is not 1.45* (unless = , which would be unusual). If Serq's ability hits 3 times, she hits for 3*( + 0.45) = 3* + 1.35. ---- To use your example, GOD A hits for 100dmg + 45% scaling 3 times, GOD B hits for 300dmg + 45% scaling one time. P = power. GOD A: 3*(100+0.45P) = 300 + 1.35P GOD B: 1*(300 + 0.45P) = 300 + 0.45P GOD A gets 135% Phys power as bonus dmg, GOD B gets 45%. ---- That's how Smite math works. :P

As bonus damage to the total skill, when it's worded that way is correct when you use 135%. It doesn't defeat the fact that the math is still never actually more than *1.45 it's not "how smite math works" it's just how math works period. I also realize my example formula was shitty in relation to smite and didn't convey my thought that well, this is so pedantic I shouldn't have even commented in the first place. BUT, I do know that the scaling is based off the physical more of base + items. Even though my formula was incorrect, that still doesn't mean that per hit you're getting more than 45% scaling. So, in conclusion, I agree to disagree that it can be worded as 135% of total power as added damage, or just 45% scaling regardless.
