I've been searching for the perfect ski/ snowboard goggles for a long time and I was excited to finally give these a try. This review shares my honest opionion and hopefully helps you if you're looking at buying the Smith I/O Mag goggles.

Supposedly the anti fog is not a coating but itched into the lenses so it will never come off.

What type of balaclava face covering are you wearing? Does it work well with the goggle? No fogging?

Nice video. It really helps me in making the decision. Does the color of the view change if I pick different color? Besides that, I personally prefer bigger retailer (eg. REI) because they usually have huge holiday discount and member discount etc.

Hey jiayi, Glad it helped. The colour does not look much different from the user perspective so that shouldnt effect your choice. I agree about the discounts from the big retailers but if both prices are the same I like to support smaller local companies as they are the true experts and real people trying to make a living! Just my thought. Hope you get a pair you like :)

Well they wouldn't have the mag feature which I love but the lenses should be as good!

I noticed this is a red mirror lens (or everyday red), what sort of tint they produce. I am trying to avoid lenses that generate a pinkish effect (like the jade lens), and heard these reds are fairly neutral in color, do you agree? Thanks.

Hey Olasek, I don't notice any pinkish tint! It's just like looking through tinted sunglasses.

Will these goggles work if you need to wear glasses? And how do you keep the glasses from fogging up?

Good question, I haven't tried to wear goggles with ski glasses. They do a great job defogging but I couldn't tell you the effectiveness of protecting your glasses underneath.

I bought last year Smith squad XL and I just cant find them nowhere in the house this year... Do you know if these will fit my face? I think they are a little smaller. Overmore are these lenses chromapop?

Hey There, Yes they are chromapop. That should fit your face fine. They are a bit smaller but still a reasonable size. Hope you find the lost pair!

@@Movesmedia I hope also to find them because they were together with 1 more pair of googles 3 pair of gloves 2 bennies and more... My guess is that I accidentally throw them to garbage collector when I was relocating from my parents house after covid. Thanks for the answer!!!

Can you show how to put the goggles and extra lenses back in the bag?

There is a compartment for the goggles and extra lenses. I alway put the goggles in top compartment and lenses in the bottom. Each shold be facing the same direction so the curve aligns nicely. Hope that helps!

@@AVnoswag Try putting your spare lenses on top of the goggles. Put your goggles in first then add the lenses to the compartment on top of your goggles. Again, making sure they are cuved in the same direction.

Which one of the lenses do you use for conditions when its sort of in between cloudy and sunny?

I'd go with the rainy day lens if it's marginal. Prefer being able to see any flat light vs a bit extra sun protection but you could probably get away with either. I find the sunny lens pretty great compared to previous goggles I've had in all conditions.

Hey Ya, I believe they do. I've been pretty careful with mine and haven't had an issue but I have heard that you need to protect them pretty well.

Generally, goggles are made more for the western face profile. Do you know if these will still fit a flatter asian face without leaving a gap? I guess I'll only really know just by trying them on in a store.
