That Bc2 move got me thinking… I shouldn’t “tunnel vision” on my main move unless it’s got to happen now or never, but if I have the option to hold off on the main move, I should look at moves to make the main move indirectly worse for my opponent. Daniel missed a game-winning tactic by his opponent at 3:30: f5 wins a piece guaranteed. If you capture en passant then d5 comes with a fork of knight and bishop and if you move your knight on e4 away then f4 comes trapping the bishop.
@FlareiOS2 жыл бұрын
Damn nice find, I would’ve never found that in a game, but I guess white does get quite a bit of compensation after Neg5, followed by h6 (if you don’t play h6 then the bishop is no longer trapped), then the knight can take on e6, and after dxe6, the bishop can take with check. White gets 2 pawns for a knight and partially blows the king side open
@monstermagnet31502 жыл бұрын
f5 is a very impressive move indeed ! But it's far from over for white because if en passant and d5 then fxg7 and you cannot take the white pawn with the king because of Qc3 check ! Black king have to go back to g8 and eventually you play Rad1 or Rfd1 pinning the pawn and you have a lot of development + black has very difficult moves to find to stay in the games (Qb6 runs into the beautiful Rxd5 with an incredible attack and the best Qe7 makes black lose a rook to the elegant Bd6) 🤩 In order to keep his advantage, black can sacrifice the exchange (instead of taking the white g pawn) with Rxf3 but that is very hard to play...
@gregeonaf78112 жыл бұрын
@@monstermagnet3150 Yeah game-winning was a bit of a stretch but it's a nice tactic. That continuation with fxg7 is an amazing line.
@moe_18382 жыл бұрын
That's a nice find but I think you missed a move; after f5 nc3 (or any other safe knight move) f4 Doesn't trap the bishop because we can just play bxf4 and we have that square controlled twice (by the queen as well) so after nxf4 we just play qxf4 and we're up a pawn with a nice position. I'm probably missing smth lol I'm on xanax rn but check that line out incase it does work

On move 12, after white played Bg3, danya's opponent could have gained a -3.65 winning advantage on SF 15 Depth 35 by playing 12) f5 followed by d5 forking the knight and the bishop. The ensuing lines are pretty cool. I found this line that pops out of seemingly no where to be quite surprising given how quickly and mindlessly black played this game.

You can play e5 either way, but the difference is the bishop can become a target if moved out too early. That’s why we say “bishops before knights”
@Jake6Enjoyer2 жыл бұрын
@@FlareiOS Nah dude you dont understand bc4 allows you to play e5 in some positions even if you lose the pawn because youll have bxf7 winning the queen. For example if blacks response after accepting the morra is d6 and nf6 if you developed bishop first youll have e5 in that position.
