Agreed. It’s well documented, Hikaru’s 20+ years of poor sportsmanship that has become more than distasteful. And I’m glad it’s finally being put on blast. Bc alot of these videos surfacing show he is flat out malicious and rude af when he loses or doesn’t get his way. That's kinda the point with the move pawn to E5. White blundered when he played knight takes E5. He should have played knight b5 to threaten knight c7+ with a fork. There's a few things people that follow content creators don't like and that is copyright striking and toxic behaviour (with a few exceptions). I believe it's time to apologize for the copyright strikes and the bullying (when multiple people are saying the same thing it's hard to dispute it as false information). If Mike Tyson can own up to his mistakes and poor behaviour and make changes to better himself moving forward, anyone can. No damage control BS, it's time to be honest and hold yourself accountable for your actions.

Glad I got to hear the extent too which Hikaru acts professionally pretty early into my subbing. In retrospect me unsubbing does very little to phase or correct Hikaru however there's a huge disconnect between himself and his peers and it's coming to light for the viewers to decide in what regard they hold these people to. I say this with no hate, no insults or toxicity towards him or his community. I simply think its preposterous he's not decided to address it in a video. And has chosen to lie about his intentions in this regard several times.

Pretty sure Reg T does apply to everyone. Thing is, there are rules on what funds you are allowed to use. ie. no free riding, but you can use settled funds to buy securities in cash account. The real issue is in how you can't trade with money you do not actually have (ie. money to cover the trade). That's usually why hedgefunds can get away with it. Even when yes, they can go bankrupt.
