Great presentation. OTSOT 60’s GT edition: when I was a boy I spent quite a lot of time one summer with my grandfather looking for an interesting project car. This was in the mountains of western North Carolina around 1984. The 2 cars I remember coming across were a complete Fiat 850 convertible at a junk yard and a rough but complete Maserati 3000 GT sitting at a local body shop. I may be totally off but I think the price for it was about $5000-6000? The project car idea never came to fruition but the brief hunt was a lot of fun.

Interesting guide to the "ornaments". Anorak observation concerning the AC 428 designed by Pietro Frua: this car is clearly derived from the (one-off for Colin Chapman) 1964 Frua Lotus Elan (scaled up). Personally of all the cars shown, I would opt for the Lamborghini 400GT.

Johnny 'has a real thing' for every single car he recognizes. (Sounds like he only learned about each one even existing at the last show/auction he went to...and now he's an 'expert') Every single stereotypical classic is on the top of his list. I would've thought Goodwood would hire people who dress a bit more respectfully too.
