Anyone who dislikes this has no taste in music. This song is masterfully done and is one of the best acoustic songs I have ever heard. Can’t wait for more songs from these two to come out.

Well look at you, your first words are of resentful judgment for those who dare to individualize. Who do they think they are to have their own thoughts, preferences, and validity? After all, yours are all that matter?! Gheeish & ughh. This line of thought is the equivalent of saying (anyone who dislikes eating shit, have no taste buds). It is blatantly obvious that your focus is not on the brilliance of the music, but rather the opportunity to discredit others.

Driving home from a long trip, I heard this song for the first time today. I had to pull over and close my eyes to just absorb the beauty and purity of the lyrics from a fantastic vocalist and equally great guitar player. So simple, yet powerful. This is a throwback to what music was. When you felt the goosebumps, when you got a tear in your eye, when it was real. Thank you S&M for this beautiful track now added to my collection.

Lyrics - Hey, Mr. Hopeful You said we're better safe than sorry Hey, Mr. Hopeful I wouldn't want your momma to worry It's gettin' dark but I'm goin' out If there's a fire, gotta put it out And in an hour if you hear me shout Come a runnin' Hey, Mrs. Heartache Your sister said he didn't mean it Hey, Mrs. Heartache His brother said he lost the feelin' A couple months under house arrest Some holy water and a priest to bless I can't forgive what I can't forget And I can't forget... Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down You're not mad enough You're not mad enough How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground Before you wake up? Before you wake up? You're not mad enough Hey, Anybody Know the bitter side of death and glory? Hey, Everybody Knows a picture tells a worn out story Face down I can taste the blood It's hard to breathe, someone let me up I can't hear you, have you had enough? 'cause I've had enough Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down You're not mad enough You're not mad enough How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground Before you wake up ? Before you wake up ? You're not mad enough You're not mad enough... Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down You're not mad enough You're not mad enough How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground Before you wake up ? Before you wake up ? Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down (Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down!) You're not mad enough You're not mad enough How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground (How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground ?!) Before you wake up ? Before you wake up ? Can't stop listening to this beautiful song. Love Zack playing the guitar and Brent, your voice makes my heart fill such love. I'm in a semi shit place right night of nightly crying and day time living. Making it thru with the wonder of music and Brent's voice pulling me thru. Telling me to be madder about the issue st hand. I can get thru it , I will be better for letting go of it. Right now I just have to let the pain be pain. It too will fade. Thanks guys love you lots.

@@stevierayburks6886 why? Because they aren't buying into the message? Don't get me wrong, I have seen this band at least 7x. As musicians they are great. But it's career suicide when you hop on a social agenda such as the murder of GF. What happened to him was not right & it's being handled. If they prefaced this with the money made off this tragedy would be donated to Back the Blue I would be all about it. Since the GF tragedy it's become open season to those we call for help. The police! ALL LIVES MATTER!

@@anchovieman6968 I support those who put their lives on the line to protect us. That would be the Police, Fireman, First Responders and our MILITARY. Thugs, absolutely not and I don't care what color they are. You have no idea what color I am. It's open season on police & if you are okay with that then that speaks volumes as to the type of person you are. Have a great day/evening! Nothing else to say on this subject.
