Well look at you, your first words are of resentful judgment for those who dare to individualize. Who do they think they are to have their own thoughts, preferences, and validity? After all, yours are all that matter?! Gheeish & ughh. This line of thought is the equivalent of saying (anyone who dislikes eating shit, have no taste buds). It is blatantly obvious that your focus is not on the brilliance of the music, but rather the opportunity to discredit others.

Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down You're not mad enough You're not mad enough How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground Before you wake up? Before you wake up? You're not mad enough Hey, Anybody Know the bitter side of death and glory? Hey, Everybody Knows a picture tells a worn out story Face down I can taste the blood It's hard to breathe, someone let me up I can't hear you, have you had enough? 'cause I've had enough Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down You're not mad enough You're not mad enough How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground Before you wake up ? Before you wake up ? You're not mad enough You're not mad enough... Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down You're not mad enough You're not mad enough How many heads are gonna have to hit the ground Before you wake up ? Before you wake up ? Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down (Stop tellin' me I gotta calm down!) Brent Smith...your voice is like butter....I listen to you on days when I need an escape. My favorite thing to yell in the car is "SING TO ME BRENT" I could listen to you sing the A,B,C's :) thank you for your voice and for sharing it with us!

"I can't forgive what I can't forget, and I can't forget" That's a gut punch lyric right there. I get the same memory every time I hear it. I don't know where i would be without all 4 of these guys.

I first heard this and thought "what a pleasant song". Then I actually listened. And I don't know when I was transported to my shitty childhood, and became even more grateful for this song. All my life I was told my brother beating me was normal and I deserved it somehow. Thank you for putting in words how much it hurts.

I don't think it's possible for any variant of Shinedown to put out a bad song.

Some would think that is hyperbolic. It's not, it's facts.

I thought so too, but In not a fan of Bad Guy. Not because of Brent. Its just a 💩 song.

@@alisongunther6486 OK I'll qualify that by saying "they THEY wrote" also... Bad Guy wasn't out when I made the comment so hush.

Hey Fritz - Is this guy from Shinedown? I just literally discovered them 5 minutes ago (song called Bad At Love) and commented it gave me a soft Shinedown vibe then I looked for more songs and found this one and your comment. No wonder I love them cus Shinedown is one of my all time favorites (just never learned any of their names!)

@@stevierayburks6886 why? Because they aren't buying into the message? Don't get me wrong, I have seen this band at least 7x. As musicians they are great. But it's career suicide when you hop on a social agenda such as the murder of GF. What happened to him was not right & it's being handled. If they prefaced this with the money made off this tragedy would be donated to Back the Blue I would be all about it. Since the GF tragedy it's become open season to those we call for help. The police! ALL LIVES MATTER!

Who's yo momma so if it supports a group you like, then it’s good?
@Hopies2ndmom4 жыл бұрын
@@anchovieman6968 I support those who put their lives on the line to protect us. That would be the Police, Fireman, First Responders and our MILITARY. Thugs, absolutely not and I don't care what color they are. You have no idea what color I am. It's open season on police & if you are okay with that then that speaks volumes as to the type of person you are. Have a great day/evening! Nothing else to say on this subject.
