I felt the same when I first saw this. I think I actually left the video cause I couldn't keep up with it. The braid is actually a pretty simple and common one that I actually knew. He just doubled the wire. So 2 strands each. Same as 5 wire braid. Using 10 though. I'm guessing this method works good with keeping a good consistent tension on every strand the whole time. Making a nice uniform braid. I want to try it now 😂

@smithgoldluke this is probably a stupid question, but how do you keep the braided part from getting soldered when you solder the twisted end pieces on? Wouldn't the solder sweat into the braid?

When melted, solder flows towards to the flame, which in this case the torch is being held above the spinner part
