I like the way you lay everything out as you show each item.

Smith's seems to have changed this kit around, the version I found on Amazon has a "survival multi-tool" now and I do not see the nice signal mirror included anymore. However at $13 it's a decent bargain and begging to be kit-bashed into something really useful. I'm gonna buy it. Thanks WS! Great channel!

No problem at all there’s more to come! 13 seems like a great deal even for this kit. Thanks for the view and comment again!

I like the reviews of these mini survival kits, but every time I get to your channel, that's all they are, mini. I'd like to see survival kits for 72 hours or so that include backpacks, food, water purification and bottles, shelter, flashlights, a radio, fire starting supplies, cordage, etc.

I have a few of them to go over plus my own kits that I edc I will go over them also the channel is still new and growing so I will continue to add new content I want to finish this mini series off first. I have some larger premade stuff to do also I think you will like more.

I like the minis. They're fun, and I love collecting them. If I'm going to spend the money for a 72 hour, I think I'd be better off putting together my own.

@@stevep2448 yes I always recommend building your own kit suited to your skill set and environment something that works for you may not work for me. I just enjoy seeing what people pack into these things

I'd definitely get this just for the dry bag and would add whatever other items to it. As for the small silicone cup, it's more an edc item to prevent creating more non biodegradable trash, or creating more styrofoam landfill. Styrofoam is way worse than plastic for the ocean and 1000x less useful
@whitetailsurvival24305 ай бұрын
That’s a great way to look at it! You’re definitely right about styrofoam I hate that stuff. It’s good for a cooler that’s about it. I do like the fact there is a lot more room in this kit so things can be added and you don’t have to worry about them because the bag is waterproof! Thanks for the view and comment!

There's only about 18 inches of fishing string, so you'll have to re-spool that tab with new string.

Your right there’s not much on there at all maybe enough to put one line out in the water overnight. This kit definitely didn’t have a lot of stuff in it but it was still cool. The knife was a neat thing!

russian shot glass for vodka in the wilderness, silicone should be fine for hot coffee right?
@whitetailsurvival24304 ай бұрын
Yea that would work for the vodka for sure 😆 it might be alittle hot on the hands for the coffee. There might be enough room in there for some espresso

Haha I know that one cracked me up! The tiny little cup. I couldn’t even think of anything good to say about it. Definitely an odd addition to that kit for sure!
