Oxpeckers perform a valuable service to hippos, keeping their skin free of ticks and dead skin. But they’ve also been known to keep host wounds open, so they can feed off the flesh.

yes but u have to understand they have a lot of wax,deadskin and parasites. and because they don't have human hands they can't put it out

@HydroMk2 He doesn't even need to go that far. This video is about hippos are rolling in parasite-ridden dirty muddy water and pesky birds are harassing them by pecking their wounds. Also, the hippos stomach wall is covered with parasites. What beauty is there? Nature is a mess, and it sucks.

Why do u think he said this life is only a test, and will appear and feel only like a minute when we go into the eternal life. The war, famine, etc is only momentary aspects in the vastness of time and all can be forgotten instantly when someone is in the fire or in paradise. You have a very emotional and narrow way of looking at things, but that’s probably because u don’t even know and understand your creator well or your own purpose.

@@biggzzify if u study the scriptures from various faiths around the world, u will see they all point to one supreme God, even though many have other demigods or angels. In Islam, we believe God sent his messengers throughout time, so then its about comparing and validating which scripture makes most logical sense.

they weren't eating any ticks... hippos don't really get that many ticks to begin with, very few ticks can survive underwater for any length of time. ... they were eating the hippos.

I don't like exaggeration in nature documentaries. The birds will bear a shower but they obviously don't like it. Even hummingbirds take showers, usually preferring splashes.
