I remember watching the Miculek family in Cheyenne, Wy. Extremely nice people. Thank you for coming and shooting.

Thank you both for this informative video. You covered important points that we should consider before getting in competition shooting. Nothing more frustrating then spending a lot of money on a pistol and then finding out it is not the best gun for a particular shooting sport.

Thank you for the longer videos with more detail! I love how Julie gracefully let’s the Legend cover revolvers as though she isn’t a champion wheelgunner herself.

The Dems have not taken the guns, but once the GOP has destroyed our democracy, they will have to take the guns to keep power. If you call destroying the right to choose between two or more parties "keeping America great" then you don't know what you're talking about.

Great video!!! What a team, very informative. I am old fashion, I love my revolvers. Love shooting them. Everyone that can, go to your local range, see what kind of competitions they offer, try the different types of guns if you can, see what you like try before you buy. If you decide there is a certain type of competition you want to get into, check out the different types that are allowed in that competition. As you saw, Smith & Wesson offers the options for all different types. I have been shooting a S&W revolver since 1985. Have never had a problem with it. Thanks Ms Julie, thanks Jerry!!!

Safe handling instruction of firearms is something I haven't seen at ranges. Based on the times I've seen STUPID STUFF happen, maybe they should have 'em cause range officials can't see everywhere !! Thanks to Mr. Mark Smith again and the producers of these vids !!

That is the major problem with these competitions. The public ranges don't advertise the clubs who would take away their customers. Here is how it's done. Find the gun clubs in your area which probably don't accept new members through your local gun shop. The gun clubs will open their gates during competitions. The gun clubs will have a schedule on their websites. Don't compete on your first visit. Learn, help and be attentive during your first visits. Introduce yourself to the ones running the match. I was involved as a safety officer for two clubs for years and never joined their clubs. I finally was invited to join but was competing for years. I just had to pay the extra entrance fee which was fine with me. Many clubs have matches which follow the organization rules but don't contribute to the national organization. There also won't be prize money but you will learn a lot. You will meet people who travel the circuit and compete all over your state. That's when you start joining IDPA, IPSC, USPSA. Also don't be the big fish in the small pond. Get out there to other clubs and learn from the best.

Great video and very informative! Julie, might want to stop pointing the gun in Jerry's direction. We know it's unloaded but you need to avoid pointing any gun in any direction where it would be unsafe should it go off.
@DarrinCanote2 жыл бұрын
Just fyi every time you see something red sticking out of each of the guns that means there is a flag in the chamber shaped like a plastic bullet literally preventing anything and everything from being in there to fire. Safety is good but at some point enough is it enough.
@larrysample40462 жыл бұрын
@@DarrinCanote Enough is not enough! If you point an empty gun where it shouldn't be pointed then you may just develop a habit of pointing even a loaded gun where it should not be. I'll say again, never point a gun loaded or unload where it would be unsafe should it go off!
