I'm the kind of person that spends a load of time eyeing up the menu and then go on to order what I've ordered the last 10 times before 😂

That's why I prefer eating family style where you get to share a bunch of different foods rather than just 1 meal per person. But yeah, I usually already know what I'm getting before as well lol. Still doesn't change the fact I like to look at what the rest of the menu items look like.

Another heroic effort Leah, smashed it out the park , once again. ❤️ My go to Indian dish is normal a chicken Balti madras with keema rice, accompanied by Bombay potato and a cheese chilli garlic Naan bread. Don’t need a starter normally. Chips with a curry is a NO NO NO !!! Why do chips have to be included in every meal ? It’s the same as people that put tomato ketchup on everything? I will never understand that as long as I live !!

Hi Leah, I m from India and I m a big big fan of urz.... So to divide the whole meal and give a brief about the dishes ... Mushroom rice is not so popular when we have food at a restaurant.... Poppadams are musts... Either they r eaten while waiting for the actual food to arrive on the table with the chutneys given or they r enjoyed with every morsel of food eaten... Almost all cultures here in India have different varieties of poppadams to go with their traditional food items .... Now coming to the bhunas, they all r definitely wonderful and delicious and must ordered while in a restro but we enjoy it with plain flat bread and not studded flat bread like plain naan, tandooriil roti, phulka, garlic naan, rumali roti and so on... These are either plain flatbreads or flavoured flatbreads but not stuffed flatbreads like kheema naan or aloo ka Paratha.... We enjoy such stuffed flatbreads separately with the chutney and yogurt given alongwith these... Ofcourse no1 here orders a bag of chips with such a meal unless we have a very small kid with us and we want to give him/her some finger food to keep him/her busy while we have our meal... And the last dish: aloo saag... It's basically a dish from the north of India, people enjoy it alot there but it is best eaten with plain chapati (plain flatbread) or plain rice and not flavoured rice , that too after mixing it nicely with your bare hands...

I left California about 10 years ago for a very rural state and oh how I missed my Indian restaurant there. I don’t think I ever looked a menu after the first time. They’d just seat me and explain that they’ll bring out something’s that I will love. Oh were they right and I was never let down. Finally and Indian restaurant is coming to a town about 50 minutes away! Yay!

I think, when I say you’re good to watch….It’s because you don’t seem to be stuffing it down and getting it everywhere. It all seems to be well planned, no food in the hair, no massive mess on the table, no gouging heaps of drinks….and next minute, it’s all gone… that’s what I was trying to say.

I ordered it hot and they didn't want to make it as it was too spicy for most people. It has a heat that built up over the bites. It got insanely hot but never lost flavor. Then 30 seconds later the heat was gone. Now I want curry
