Smittybilt SRC Cage Review- Important Upgrade for Interior Jeep JKU

Finally was able to get my Smittybilt SRC cage installed onto the JKU. Decided to do a review on it so i was so impressed and happy with it. Great quality and amazing price point for some piece of mind when on the trails!!

Nice review. Do you know the diameter of the bar used for the cage? Thinking of getting one, but also considering the front harness bar that Rock Hard sell, but not sure if they will work together. Rock Hard quote 1 3/4" tube, but can't find size of Smittybilt bar anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Does this roll cage work with a hard cover?

According to instructions yes it does but will require alittle trimming on the freedom panels

Still love it! Great looking cage and have no doubt it would hold up in a rollover situation

​@@dirthead1so what about a high speed at a racetrack with a hellcat engine and it roles 2/3 times. Think it would hold up. Trying to decide on full ordeal or something like this. It will still be daily driver and raced also.

@@jumpstreet2425 not sure how well it would hold up in something of that nature. A full cage tied in to the frame is the strongest. This type of cage is mainly for reinforcement in the event of a tip over or minor roll.

@@dirthead1 true. For a daily driver, that might work. Some daily driver don't allow cages anyway. And for a hellcat wrangler id prefer atleast more than stock.
