S&S is a great example of releasing a game at the worst possible moment. Thanks for not forgetting it in all the E3 hubbub. Gotta wait for a sale on this one, as I'm just not feeling something so inventory management heavy. Top 3 (no particular order) -Yoku's Island Express -Celeste -Steamworld Dig 2 (though I still like the first one more on 3DS) Honorable Mentions (and a ton of hours of gameplay) -Sky Force Reloaded -Kingdom: New Lands -Golf Story

Hello, I'm a new fan. I spend far more time watching videos about the switch than playing it and your channel is my new go to for reviews. Absolutely amazing job on the details. I've had my eye on this game, but after spending $30 on a digital only indie that I ended up hating I think I'm going to hold off for a sale. I don't have many eshop only games that I could put in any top list right now, I tend to buy physical when I can. Stardew Valley is definitely my favorite digital only title. I suppose if I had to pick another two it would be toki tori and letter quest as casual games. I do have a few indies I've purchased that were hailed as "masterpieces" that I simply did not enjoy. I've found many games developers these days have traded what I consider fun for tedium labeled as hardcore. I don't enjoy cheap death mechanics, excessive backtracking, or really anything added simply for the sack of artificially inflating gameplay hours. Hello. Many thanks for watching, it’s nice to have you with us. I completely agree about some games artificially extending their length with cheap tactics and it being called hardcore - that wasn’t fun during the nes era and certainly isn’t now either. I also agree with Toki Tori being a fun pick up and play game. It gets 10 mins here and there from me and before you know it, you’ve spent a fair few hours on it. Glen

Good review. This game strikes me as appealing on various levels, but I am wary of the breakage/spoilage/maintenance aspects. Probably will give it a shot at some point.

Thanks for this great review! I like the style and look of this game but I'm glad you went into great detail on the gameplay mechanics. The inventory management would really turn me off of this game, not to mention the tedium of collecting.

I like your reviews, but I wish you would be a little less specific when talking about the story. I know you didn't give away a lot of spoilers, but I wish you would not do any. You could talk about the themes, style, and emotional impact of the story without getting into spoilers at all. It's more fun for me to discover the story in-game rather than through a summary, even if it's only the intro.

Great review. Interesting subject matter considering the family friendly nature of Nintendo. They are opening up to adult content yes, but you would got get that looking at the game art alone for this game.

Top 3 switch games is a tricky question but I would say Sumer is up there amongst the best but the games ive clocked up the most time with so far are Mario kart 8...fast rmx...Picross s...neo turf masters...Puyo Puyo Tetris...piczle lines dx and skyforce reloaded😎👍

A great review but this game doesn't quite do it for me. Not sure I'll be buying this one. As far as my favorite eShop games 1. Overcooked (has a physical version but I bought on eShop) 2. Fortnite (great game to play with friends) 3. Bleed 2 ( short game but great for a fast paced bullet hell game with couch co-op)

Interesting story, great hand drawn design, but for some god awful reason they put the combat at the front and center of the game...and the combat is HORRIBLE. I had to put this down after 3 hours because it just became frustratingly tedious to do action oriented combat with a clunky, delayed animated main character. The game would have been much better off if they put more emphasis on the story, and less on the combat.
