I have a question. My brush strokes (smoke effect) are not as accented as yours. Mine is very light. I followed your video but I still dont get the same effect. I did the white foreground color against a black mask but the effect is still too light. Pls help

4:30 i add a gradient map and it makes my pic go negative so i had to hit reverse in the properties of the gradient map to fix it? what did i do wrong? all the thumbnail of the gradient map is not the gradient icon its the adjustment icon?

That's an inspiring Tutorial! I started working on an idea using this technique three years ago. Now I am trying to finish my work, but I find that the layer masks where I apply the brushes behave differently in the 2019 version of PS. Has Adobe changed the behaviour of the layer masks or do brushes work differently now? I am totally confused...

dude 3000 pixels and 2600 pixels on format is too way big for the image as i see because when i move the image to the layer it gets smaller on that big format so what format should i do ?
