An Aussie HQ Monaro would be considered smaller than a 1970's "Mid-Size" car in the USA. The HQ is 187" long on a 111" wheelbase, which 1" shorter than a 2nd Gen Chevelle Coupe (112") which is also 10" longer (197") overall. The Holdens are a relatively small car in American terms, and also note that largest stock engine was a 350 cid.

That's actually a big car with a big engine the hq Kingswood which is what it is was one of Australia's biggest cars they use to come with a standard V8 engine but as U can see he's dropped a big block into a big cat and made it a burn out machine

@johncoops6897 Жыл бұрын
You also don't need to have a massive injector hat sticking up in order to do a similarly impressive burnout in a street car. These cars are custom built for only one thing, performing in burnout competitions and having a certain appearance doing so. They run Methanol fuel extremely rich (so-called "fat tune") to keep the engine cool. A huge amount of unburnt fuel goes straight out the exhaust, which is what causes the flames.
