If you want to fix your smoking chip pan problem, put a couple kingsford charcoal (match light) briquets in the bottom, light them, let the flames go out, then add your smoking wood chips. You won`t have to keep re-lighting the wood chips all thru your cook time. I`ve used my method of charcoal for decades for our gas grill, and now our Blackstone griddle.

Dish looks awesome. What I like to do, is make a compound butter of rosemary and garlic, roll it up and put in fridge. When you plate the food, put a medallion of the compound butter on top of the steak. Basically what you did, but you didn’t mix it together. 👍👍

Love you guys! Everything about this meal looked amazing! May I suggest making a compound butter with the smoked garlic and the rosemary and use it to melt over the steak instead of plain butter 💖

Wow. The garlic with the rosemary on top is incredible. Flavor flavor!! Then to top it off on the steak, is like WHOA! UN-BELIEVABLE! Thanks for this!!

Have been watching you guys for a while and the food looks amazing. However, anyone who is only interested in just the finished food look obviously misses the point of both this and CJ's 1st Cooking Show...... The Banter and the movie clips along with the B roll bloopers, etc totally just as important. It actually inspires us to prove that regular folks not just high end cooking schools can pull off the same magic. It also shows how funny, relatable and personable you guys really are!! Would love to ring the bell and share a cold drink with you all. Cuz of how you approach the show, we just bought the 17" tabletop with side burner for the deep frying pot. Toby, Betty, the twins are all great in their own ways, BUT you guys rock beyond just "how to cook". Banter makes it special!! God Bless!!

I just made the recipe (minus the smoking…but I will next time )….about what temperature should the griddle be at at cook the steak. I didn’t quite get the ‘crust’ Also the long cut on the veggies is perfect for camping and for better presentation!

Another great video guys! If you use a smoke tube it will probably work a little better for you
@Absdrakt4 жыл бұрын
Good Cook, and nice concepts. I might add a suggestion. Instead of using the container to smoke. You might want to get one of those Smoke Tubes that use Pellets and you can run a continuous smoke for a while. After seeing this cook, that's what I"m going to do until I can afford my smaller smoker.

does the large rectangular blackstone dome fit over that rack?
@BlackstoneGriddles2 жыл бұрын
Hi. The dimensions of our rectangular basting dome are 21.25" x 12.25" x 5" so it won't fit on this particular cooling rack. Hope this clears things up. Have a great day.

Can I order the lid separately for my 36”? Ive tried calling customer service and have not had any reply.
@cecho93674 жыл бұрын
Nice looking steak. Blackstone is lucky to have you. I only wish Blackstone customer service was as good as your cooking skills. But my experience so far is I regret ever getting a Blackstone. I love my griddle but when I got it 6 weeks ago it was missing parts and not sparking. I contacted customer service and got a reply that they will get back to me within 2 weeks. 6 weeks later I’m still laying on the ground and reaching up with a lighter and still have no handles on my lid. No word from customer service. So if anyone out there is thinking about getting a Blackstone think twice. Nice looking steak though.

Nate this vid is going into the hopper so I can refer back to in. Got the Air Fryer Combo for Father's Day. It's ready to cook on. Gotta get the accessories then watch out. My dilemma is I can't get a email answered, someone to answer the phone. Heck I can't even register the product because the AF Combo isn't in the dropdown list. What gives? This is unacceptable...
