I have this and it is ok. It is neat and pretty quiet and it sounds crazy but moving it when it is lit is a breeze. However it rusted very quickly and is not very smokeless

These fire pits work very well. Sadly they do not hold up. After a season of using ours, the unit is warped beyond belief. The mesh sides have sunk in a whopping 2.5" at the center of the unit. The unit is so badly warped the grill grate can no longer be used. Spend your money elsewhere.

Sorry to hear about the long term durability. If you looking for a new firepit, I really enjoy the bomb proof durability of the snowpeak firepits, portability and option to go smokeless with the floga attachment 🔥

I think the first version (1.0) had rusting issues from what I've seen, but we haven't had trouble with the 2.0 version rusting. Granted we're just now nearing a year with it, but it looks great after 15 fires.

Would you feel comfortable leaving this on a deck without burning the deck?

Yes, I would use this on a deck, but you’d need to make sure you left the ash door closed. I had it open a bit one of the times I used it, and some ash fell out, but that was my fault. When used correctly, it leaves no trace.

not even close to being smokeless like a solo stove. Looks more like screen fire pit with a fancy bluetooth operated fan ... Another great sounding idea with a horrible design 👍
