Nagata San was never a member of the Middo Naito Kurabu. He was rejected membership by Mr. Yoshida himself. Out of revenge, he left his Job at HKS to open up his own company, Top Secret, and to dominate the top speed scene and racing/street scene. Though the Middo Naito Kurabu has a following, safe to say that Smokey, has a far greater following.

It's No Easy When the Law is After You Either, he's Even Lost Hearing in One Ear Due to the Noisy Environment he's Constantly in and He's Still Trying to Achieve His 250Mph Goal. It Takes a lot of Dedication and Addiction (He's Addicted to Boost) and He's Getting Old. He's Extremely Humble too and I'd Like to Meet Him Someday

I first learned about Top Secret through early SuperStreet magazines and through the Tokyo Extreme Racer game "Sokudo's Documentary". Was a heck of an era....wish I could've seen it in person in japan. Now it appears a lot of the highway racing scene in japan is dead.
