I cried when I saw him in person (Circle Star Theater 1989 San Carlos,CA) and he sang this song. His voice was crystal clear, a beautiful instrument then and now. Nobody can sing and make me feel like Smokey can.

I have been loving all of Smokeys songs and talents since 1965 ooh baby baby is my theme song and to this day I listen to it religiously of course I love every song of Smoke Dog. Got to meet him once at a concert in the park in Pasadena I was sitting next to Roland Bynum who was impressed by me singing every song Smokey sang. He asked me did I want to meet Smokey of course I did so after the show he took me to Smokeys trailer I was speechless Smokey could not open my mouth Smokey snapped me out of the fog I was in I think I said something stupid but I got a picture with my idol I think of that day all the time Thanks Smokey for making my life you are the greatest poet in the world

This is how we just saw him on the ship- what a concert. He is so beautiful. His songs are eternal. Loved him in 1968 in high school. It was so wonderful to see him in person and he still hits those notes!
