It was so cool that they did "Yesterday" since Alot of UK Artists most notably The Beatles covered alot of Motown Songs most notably Shout, Twist & Shout, You Really Got A Hold On Me, and Please Mr. Postman. As many of you know there was an Album called Motown Sings The Beatles. Marv Tarplin did a great fantastic Guitar Solo. I felt so bad for his Partners who were treated more like backing vocalists instead of equal partners.

Let it be "SOON?" For damn-near 35 years I'v been singing "Let it be SMOOTH..." Of course "Let it be SOON, don't hesitate" makes so much more sense... LOVE Smokey & the Miracles. 'More Love' may be the greatest love song ever written. Never understood Berry Gordy's insistence that Motown acts sing 'others' songs during appearances before white audiences. THEY WERE THERE FOR THE MOTOWN SOUND! Geez. Of course THAT CROWD may have been there for caffeine therapy; that's the deadest crowd I've ever seen.
