31:10 what makes that whole situation even weirder is that this was a plot to one of the episodes of bizaardvark (the show he was on). The whole episode was about two of the characters starting fake drama for views without discussing it with the other content creator, and how that went wrong. So either Disney copied Jake Paul, or Jake Paul copied Disney, and I’m not sure which is weirder.

What she implied was that Jake would tell IG models they needed “new team 10” members, then he would sleep with them. There were no opportunities in reality, he used that desire against them.

The difference as well is in the situation you describe, both parties are aware of the deal. Those models didn’t go (can’t say all of them didn’t) to have sexual relations. They went for their careers, to the then be put in a situation that is sexual by the person who has that control over their prospects. All while there actually being no opportunity. Might not be illegal, but it’s scummy and shouldn’t be seen as a positive way to treat others. Be well dude

So I was 11 when the Paul Brothers got really big. I was literally the target audience for this content. I remember I wasn't allowed to use the internet at this time, but my best friend was a SUPER huge fan of them. I'm also from Ohio, so the fact that they came from where we did was also really cool for us as kids. I remember sitting in her basement and watching Logan's dis track on Jake. We memorized it all. As kids, the cool thing was how much of the songs you knew. I guess now that I'm older, looking back on that time of the internet was not only nostalgic of my childhood but also really showed me how much manipulation these guys used to hook kids into their content. As someone who had never used the internet before, having the Paul Brothers as my first taste of the internet was not only made 11 year old me excited, but also is just so weird to look back on. Great video, you did a great job covering everything !!
