Susan was on a stratospheric trajectory before she met Derek, or at least before she started playing with him. Pick up her first release where every guitar solo is hers alone. Playing a Telecaster, she was still squeezing Blues and Rock tones out of it and hittin' her audience(s) right upside the head with her playing. Honestly, ever since she snuck on the industry-scene almost unnoticed, she's been blowing audience's minds. Once her first release came out, her progression has been steady. Once she married Derek and they married their respective bands into one, her name is very nearly a household word now. Really, check her early stuff and you'll get all the Susan-on-guitar you can handle.

We have watched the young Mr Trucks grow to an adult, Sexy Susan has been rocking 6 strings since he(The now master trucks) was in diapers. Sexy Susan (Teceschi) since combining with Trucks (mid 2000s) has refined her performances, her solos are stronger, clearer, and wow has her vocal control only improved from the Grit that hooked us so long ago. It's much cheaper to come to the states to see her (2500.00) as renting a hall and gathering $50k is hard to do.
