Excellent video once again, you're my #1 source of information on cigars and I wouldn't have it any other way 😂 100% agree with your emphasis on reading books, I usually read a book for 30-60 minutes before sleep and it's genuinely something I look forward to every day. Keeps your mind fresh and calms you down for bedtime. I'm currently reading The Stranger by Albert Camus! Great to see you back, I hope whatever you've been dealing with IRL has gotten / will get better 👊

Thank you for this peaceful video, I truly enjoyed it. Most of my time is spent reading and writing, and it is refreshing to hear someone be such an advocate for it in the era of media. It is like meditating, and in a way it is a kind of freedom. We get to create private worlds inside our heads, of pasts that never happened, futures that may yet come. You mentioned reading russian writers - you may like some of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky's works, I find myself reading as much as I can on cosmology and astronomy; he was an incredible thinker, very ahead of his time. Of course, anything by Carl Sagan is beautifully written as well on the topic and a lovely place to begin on space. As for your interest in the ancient civilizations, Paul Cooper has a beautiful book called Fall of Civilizations, and a series of short audiobooks for free on youtube that go very in depth on these incredible pieces of human history. Take care, and keep up the great videos!

Do you notice a difference in taste with the butane lighter? I see a lot of people saying that you should never do that.

To be honest butane is perfectly fine (no smell,taste). Hence why people most of the time use jet lighters. What you maybe mean is that you should never use are zippo lighters. Now those are filled with another fuel that does smell.

as someone who is bearly getting into cigars which cigars would you recommend to start with?

What ever you do dont make my mistake, do not start with premium €20-€30 cigars. Get some cigars that are 5 to 10 bucks untill you get a feeling for it and can taste the flavours. ALWAYS buy cigars in a dedicated cigarshop, the people there are always glad to help you, i prefer cigars from nicaragua>Honduras>dominican republic and so on. I also prefer maduro cigars(the darker ones). Good luck

It depends, it is an aquired taste. Not a lot of people like beer the first time they tried it :). It it something that grows on you, once you are able to taste the flavours like, chocolade, cream, coffee, wood, leather, grass etc, it is quite nice. Now do now that the first couple of cigars would probably just taste like smoke with here and there a hint of a nice flavor.
