Don’t throw it out just yet 😂 I took my dad’s old grill off my back porch that had been sitting there for well over 5 years covered and uncovered. Brand no longer even makes grills, wasp nests all in and on it, rust everywhere and chipping away pieces, and the propane side was completely broke. I cleaned the nests all out and sprayed it with the hose a good two or three times, went through a whole can of easy off, lined the entire bottom with aluminum foil, and 5 coats of grape seed oil to season it and that’s been the grill I’ve used for the last year and the grill that I learned how to grill with. There’s still hope for you to be a master griller! It truly is another form of love and beauty when you get into cooking. It’s such a beautiful form of art

Subscribing to this channel was a damn good decision. Your blooming onion video changed the mood of my entire party. I learned two things in life: 1. Good food brings people together. 2. You can tell if someone's cooking is good by how fat they are. My mother is both, and for my younger sister's wedding she labored for days cooking ALL of the food. You'd swear the bride and groom's families were life long friends by the end of the night.

A B another great vid thank you. I have been smoking meat for several years, with a Smoky Joe indirect heat wood smoker, because I had easy access to Oak and Hickory hard woods. I moved and no longer have said access to the hard woods, so I now use an electric smoker. Tell me if I am doing Brisket wrong all this time. I set the temp to 250* put the soaked wood chips in [about every 30 minutes] and let it do it's thing for two hours. I open it up and check it, if everything looks right, I then wrap it in aluminum foil, I pour about 1/2 cup of Red Wine or whatever over the brisket. wrap it tight twice. I then put the brisket back in for 4 hours without chips. I don't think meat will take any more smoke after 2 hours. [In the vid yours had a great pink smoke ring by the way]. After the 6 total hours, it always comes out tender and juicy with about 1/2 inch smoke ring. I think the faster cook time is due to the steam released by the liquid I add. Any honest critique would be welcome by you or someone else.
