Awesome after seasoning the pork loin I would wrap it with caul fat to keep it juicy and favorable then tie and cook. I’m going to order that rotisserie!

Hey Brian, love your work. Can you help me with something, and answer this for me. How hot (temp taken), can you tell me your temperature of your sear plate when your cooking? I recently had my breeo enclosed in block, and my sear plate can't get over 400 degrees. When I had it free standing it was scorching. Your thoughts?
@501BBQ3 жыл бұрын
I appreciate it. I’ve had mine at 500 while cooking on the sear plate. I’m not sure why having it enclosed would affect that? I just always make sure coals are around the outer edge if I’m wanting to get it really hot.

@@501BBQ thanks Brian, I'll try to scoot the coals to the outside. Blessings to you and your family

I just purchased a Breeo 19X. My question is will the charcoal block the air system to block air?
@501BBQ3 жыл бұрын
No it doesn’t. Lump charcoal doesn’t produce hardly any ash so I had good heat for a couple hours. I start it that way camping sometime as well

I have an older model (the 24” ablaze) ... do you know the diameter of the vertical rod that the kudu rotisserie fits through ... my rod looks much larger than yours for the x series breeo ... Also do you think the kudu is stout enough to hold a leg of lamb
@501BBQ3 жыл бұрын
I don’t know the diameter right off hand. I think it would they told me it has around a 30 pound capacity

@@501BBQ thanks. For combo fire pit/ cooking pit which do you prefer? I’m thinking 24 for sitting around the fire. 30” too much to feed for cooking.
@501BBQ2 жыл бұрын
So our first was a 24 with the sear plate. Next we got 19 without sear plate more for taking camping. I’ve not used the 30 but I wouldn’t want to feed it. The 24 is perfect to us. We just wanted the 19 for traveling
