@288jh 71 was not scrapped, she was there last Sunday when I was and I saw her. Shes not in very good condition, but shes still there.

I see they took the Center mount headlight off. I think it looked better with it. It gave #70 and #192 distinct differences.

@SmokyMtnSteam #70 and #192 are both beautiful. Last time I was at Dollywood, Klondike Katie stayed in the roundhouse while Cinderella (#70 was goin' up and down the mountain.

What I was told when I was in the shop was that the owners of DW won't spend the money to restore her, and wont get rid of her for some reason.

@TNtrainboy15 I have been a few times, and everytime I go, #192 is always running, I have never seen #70 run, and I don't have any video of them.

@TVRM610 Well, 192 is their main engine. However, 70 is slated to run most of this year so you should come up here with a camera sometime and ride the train.

Yeah, I like the yellow too. Green would be pretty weird though.....

East Coast Rail Chasers I think it was having trouble getting up the grade. 70 has been known to have to back up and restart the grade before

From what I understand, 192 will be painted just like 70, but with green rather than yellow :|

@SmokyMtnSteam Yeah, I'm glad they moved the headlight back up. If they have kept it in the center, I wouldn't like that and it would make it 1000x worse if they had put the diamond stack back on. Unfortunantely, I've only seen the Dollywood engines with the stack back in 2004 so that's how I remember. I should really get back down there one of these years, but with a dog and a little tight on $, that would be difficult at the time. Tennessee was great, though.

Yeah. It could have been worse: they could have left the headlight in the middle and put the diamond stacks back on.

Not really..it was ok....not the best though, her White Pass look is much better. And is the fact that shes yellow not distinct enough. The yellow actually looks good too...
