Now that Disney is releasing the first 2 season of The Mandalorian on Bluray I really hope they release Ahsoka on Bluray as well. Maybe with deleted scenes or BTS footage.

I'm sure we'll get it but it might be at least a year or two. After The Mandalorian they'll do Boba Fett, Obi-Wan, Andor and Mando Season 3 first so it'll be a while

I am SO glad that they hint towards Thrawn Alliances based off how Thrawn reacted to the Anakin/Ahsoka connection. That novel is absolutely fantastic getting to explore Thrawn and Anakin/Vader’s encounters. Who am I kidding, that whole trilogy is fantastic lol. As are HTTE AND Chiss Ascendancy

16:17 I certainly think this is part of the reason. A retired golfer/batter doesn't swing a golf club/bat as well as they did when they played regularly, and the start of this episode seemed to be implying that with Ahsoka the training programs Anakin had left behind for her. Sure, Ahsoka was a very skilled warrior after the Clone Wars, but those of us who watched the Rebels know that she wasn't the same after she found out what had happened to Anakin, what happened to her before everything fell apart weighed on her too--she didn't feel like being a Jedi. Ahsoka's weight has been lifted and she feels renewed and finally ready to revisit and hone skills she failed to nurture during her time in exile. Thrawn told us last week that his forces had dwindled, and some (all?) of that might have been Ezra's doing, though we should rule out that some were likely injured during the battle on Lothal or during the exodus to Peridea; illness, age and the predators/people of this world likely had their go at them too. In any case, there was a time when they pursued Ezra, but for a time they stopped. Thrawn's team kept tabs on him, but because of their numbers, and lack of fuel and supplies that they only acted on a sure thing, and that wasn't often. Ezra didn't have to defend a whole lot. His connection to the Force is still strong, as you'll see, but having a strong connection to the Force isn't enough to get one through a lightsaber battle especially if that isn't one's weapon of expertise. Martial artists practice their forms over and over again to stay loose and ready, training their bodies to be sort of in a state of muscle memory--Ezra doesn't have that connection to lightsabers anymore. I think he'd be okay, sure, but if he were to go up against an experienced foe with a lightsaber, I can't imagine he'd do well. Look at what happened to Ahsoka. Baylon was her first big challenge since Darth Vader, and she nearly lost that fight too.

It's a little harsh, but if the Notti had aimed for the Howlers, rather than for the Nomads, their sling shots and other projectiles might have actually stopped the Nomads. Likewise, if the Nomads had aimed for Sabine and Ezra, rather than the Noti, they might have succeeded too. Especially if they just sat back and sniped them, rather than riding along side them.

I know people will try to use the words “Glup Shitto” yet again when it comes to the appearance of C-3PO and Anakin Skywalker in the penultimate episode of Ahsoka, but that’s not true at all when you see that 3PO was there to represent and save Hera on behalf of Leia in a way that shows Filoni tastefully honoring the legacy, presence and character of Carrie Fisher as Leia without appearing by CG deepfake or uncanny valley de-aging. And I think Carrie Fisher is smiling from above at how Filoni handled her presence in Ahsoka well. Also, it made sense to have Anakin’s hologram in this episode so Ahsoka could get one last fight lesson from his prerecorded training lessons worked on before she went to fight against Thrawn and save Ezra and Sabine. So, yeah, it made sense for them to appear and wasn’t just fan service.

This criticism of "fan service" or whatever is really overdone and it is just another silly pop term. Including other Star Wars characters makes sense.

The more I see Baylan, the more I feel like his character could have been a focus of next season. Which means Ezra, at least, doesn’t escape this galaxy! He is so interesting and could have been his own spin off show! I hope they keep the character, find a great casting choice and that fans can be gracious enough to accept the change while honoring what a tremendous job Ray did in establishing him!

What an episode. Still think the relationship between Ahsoka and Huyang is incredible, i love it. One of my favorite parts of the show Also big brain move by Thrawn... he was like yo, this is Anakin's padawan. Let her cook because there's no way we can know wtf she'll do because he was unpredictable I also feel like Baylan was sort of proud to see Ahsoka survived and proud that she got the better of him in that duel

I think Ezra's original lightsaber would've come in very handy in that situation. I wonder what, if any, significance or hint it may be that Ezra did not want the lightsaber. Of course, since Sabine made some modifications, his use of that lightsaber may not be as effective for him anymore or might feel pretty strange to him. I think by the end of next episode, Shin will betray Baylon. It was a good episode, but I gotta admit, not the best one yet. It will take a lot to beat ep. 5. I wonder if Ezra got to Force commune with Kanan. In the novels, I vaguely remember that in 1 of the Aftermath novels or the new canon Thrawn novels (I cannot remember which one), Palpatine talked about how there was something was calling out to him or some Dark Force in space somewhere calling out to him. I wonder if that is the same thing calling to Baylon and that idea from the novels will somehow connect to this show. At some point in the future, I want to see Sabine meet up with Bo-Katan and Mando. LOL, I'd love to hear something also mentioned about the Darksaber and Sabine be shocked Bo-Kata lost it and Mando has it. I'd love to actually see Sabine teaching Mando how to use it the Darksaber the same way Kanan and Ezra showed her. LOL, you should have a laugh counter on the bottom of the screen counting up each time you laugh at your own joke.

Hi great looking family.. Did u find any fault in any of the episodes? I found so many like why is a non-Jedi (Ahsoka) teaching a non-force user (Sabine) to be a Jedi? 🤷 Is it or isn't it the world between world & how does that work becuz if the sharp rocks down below didn't killed Ahsoka & how in the hell was she under water for hrs & didn't drown? Also lightsaber stabbings don't kill women (Sabine & Reva) ? Can u answer these questions please! 😟👋

Thanks! Starting with your last question, you may have noticed my sarcasm in this episode when the bandit was stabbed through with the lightsaber and i said don't worry he'll be alright...so that should answer your last question. There are plenty of things to pick out in this show that are puzzling and even somewhat bothersome at times...but we do try to keep it positive...at least for the reaction. When the series is over I will likely post a video about my overall thoughts where I'll point out the things I like and things I didn't. But I always want to wait until every episode is out before I give any final opinions. Thanks for watching!

as huyang eluded to there is a bond between jedi masters and their padawans. They can literally sense each other in the force. In the Ahsoka novel i believe it says that after leaving the order she could still sense Anakin in the back of her mind. Thats why Ahsoka was able to hear the converation between anakin, windu, and sidious during order 66, and why she thought he had died from that as she was no longer able to sense him. and it's why she passed out when she sensed him in rebels cuz she reconnected to him when he was vader and it was too much for her to deal with. but its only between master and apprentice. thats why Ezra can't sense it.
