You obviously haven't read renowned player ABR's analysis placing Salamence in the F tier. Also Smoochum is basically better Jynx in the hands of a skilled player, if you choose to hit Spore from Metronome it is more accurate than Lovely Kiss.

agree on showdex, it feels like reducing the game down to visible numbers takes away a lot of the fun and perceived skill involved, even if it only shows easily findable information and doesn't give any further direction there's an extra level of skill expression in knowing when something could be in range and worth investing the extra time into calcing if that line works out that showdex cuts out by making all the detailed information available instantly at any time
