I know gangsters that start crying when they hear Nice & Smooth records because it brings back to many good memories. We were in them clubs every night! The Car Wash, Cafe Wah, Octagon, Red Zone, The Muse! I remember seeing ya'll perform about 3 times in one week! No matter how many times we seen ya'll perform we would act like it was the first time, because all the shows would be different. Ya'll were putting that work in for real! I also remember the first time meeting you through Special Ed for that show in Providence Rhode Island. I don't know if you remember. It was with Ice Tea, Smooth The Hustler and His Brother Trigger. That night was a movie too!

Someone should ask Tracy Chapman did John Cougar Mellencamp go after her because, if you listen real close, the guitar riff on her song sounds an awful lot like it "borrowed" from the riff on John's song "Jack & Diane".

I gotta keep 100. Nice & Smooth wasn't lyrist in my eyes BUT, they made some hot party jams and some classic bangers. When I think of Nice & Smooth all I can think of is having a good time. That's what makes them legends.
