The taskbar argument is so annoying. I cringe every time kara uses it. I really wish they somehow limit the visibility of the task bar so that you can't make that type of argument. It's not even consistent enough to be a good argument. It just slows down the game for whoever is accused. Edit: The purpose of this comment is to show my dissatisfaction with the argument Kara commonly makes. Disagreeing with what Kara does is totally fine in my opinion. However, I don't agree with actively going about and harassing Kara. Please stop doing that. Just wanted to clarify that since this is a fairly well liked comment.

So what Kara does is basically blame 2-4 people she thinks faked doing a task when their is a vary real possibility that it could have simply been lag, someone doing the task slowly, someone doing a task really fast, or someone simply standing on the task after finishing it to look at her in fear of their lives and the common occasion when someone doesn’t do a task and simply stands in that area for general safety. After doing this she has a 20-40 percent of being right because she basically blames half of the people there Then continues the narrative that it has to be one of them (usually pushing to vote out Jordan) claiming that she is right about this because she looked at the task bar, completely ignoring the fact that she was wrong about the others that she blamed only remembering that one of the people that she blamed happened to be an imposter and uses this to justify her faulty logic, which is honestly just guess work mixed with bad timing for others and good timing for some. After the game ends she acts like she knew without a doubt that it was someone because of the task bar, but the reality is that it is generally unreliable as a verification method due to he many variable that need to be taken into account in relation to the the players actions and the general lag/delay the task bar might have at he time. But despite this when ever she is absolutely wrong because of the task bar, she blames other people for her own assumptions about their actions or simply ignores that it happened and forgets about it. The task bar only proves that task are being done, not when exactly they are being done nor who is doing said task. You can only make assumptions using the task bar. The only way to absolutely confirm someone with the task bar, is if everyone is together and only one person does a task at a time. The task bar is not meta gaming, but it is unreliable and can easily be faked and normally takes a little bit longer or a little bit shorter amount of time to do said task every time. It’s ok to use it as a reason as to why you suspect someone, because you think that they faked it but you don’t really know that for a fact. But to use it as the only reason to vote someone off, you need to be absolutely certain because if your not then you would be actively helping the imposters and throwing the game. Kara literally decides whether or not someone is faking a task based off of a few milliseconds, which basically means that she based her judgment solely on latency and rng. The rng part is whether or not someone else did a task at the same time or if someone decided to take their time doing a task or decides to simply observe everyone else like Kara for instance. I don’t dislike Kara, but the fact that she blames both impostors and crew members for faking task and either still believes or pretends to believe that the task bar is an accurate way to know if someone is doing a task or not is just annoying, because it’s just her making excuses for her guesses to add some kind of credibility to them. She could have easily just said that she thinks that so-and-so faked doing a task and has been acting suspicious, but instead she says that so-and-so 100% faked doing a task because the task bar didn’t go up the time she thought it should have gone up at, whether it did or didn’t is unknown because the delay/lag of the task bar can vary thought the game. So she basically throws accusation at people and get them killed in a semi-random way using the task bar as an excuse/reason as to why she suspected them, innocent or not it’s basically her hunches based off of some guess work centered around the people she thinks might be an imposter that round. We know this because when ever Jordan is one of the people she suspects, it doesn’t matter what Jordan does or how many alibis he has she will still suspect him even if their was a double kill and she was with him. Karas first round as a crew member is just her making a mental list of people who she thinks are not in sync with the task bar, then she goes down her mental list blaming the people she thinks were the most likely to have faked doing a task and then she starts thinking logically while engaging in the actual speculation as to who the imposter might be. But she makes sure that it’s known at the start of a round or through out that round that she suspects so-and-so as a constant reminder to everyone while discussing who the imposter might be.

I love this, after watching Kara play for a while I just get more and more annoyed with her. In the more recent episodes where the task bar is updated and doesn't update till meetings, she still tries to catch Jordan faking tasks even though it's literally impossible to tell, then gets mad at anyone who disagrees with her when she says it's Jordan.

@@jade4130 comms are the least used sabotage though and they pretty much do almost nothing to help imposters. Oxygen and Reactor can kill/seperate people and lights/doors restrict crewmates. I've see a few games where people don't even fix comms and win by tasks. The only benefit it adds is stopping the button right? I don't remember if it stops the button or not. But the rest of the sabotages also stop the button so comms are pretty useless other than a good room to kill someone in because not many people go there often.

I've noticed both in the video and in games I've played myself that the bar goes up and 1-2 seconds later the person starts to move again. I think that time is the game showing the "Task Complete" message. It seems to be decently reliable, but I would only use it to convict someone if the bar didn't go up within a window of a few seconds before/after they step away.

When I saw the smooth brain title I thought, gee, that's a bit harsh. Then I watched the video. My apologies. You were playing Among Us with mushrooms...constantly in the dark and spreading funk.

If they decide to do a big update for the game, they should make it so imposters can set a trap in exchange for their sabatoge as a long task, and make it so crewmates can disarm traps but maybe do a little qte thing where if it fails you blow up.

Honestly I know there are so many comments about this but Kara needs to chill. She can use the task bar as a little side comment like ‘ I saw him follow yellow then yellow died, I also watched him do a task and the bar didn’t move but he literally was with yellow then seconds later yellow died.’ Idk if u get what I’m trying to say but she needs more evidence. Like Jordon said the task bar is delayed there are also tasks that take 2 or 3 things to do. In my opinion it ruins the game. Please argue or agree in the reply’s I need entertainment :))

For real, Kara's tactic kills the fun of the game, and in turn, the fun of the vod. Jordan can hardly enjoy being an imposter for the fun of it if Kara is not demonitozed in the first few seconds, and she has a pretty consistent streak of ratting him and his imposter friend out. Like bruh, just let the mans have fun for once without you trailing him like a bloodhound

This whole video was aggravating. The people couldn’t be a detective out of a shoe box, but then turned to sherlock when jordan was impostor, and when jordan had the chance to win he voted himself when he couldve voted james and won from a double kill. And of course KARA STOP BRING BIG BRAIN JARDON IS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR MASTER

She uses it so when someone tries to pull it on her she tells them they don't know how the task bar works which is how she cheats. I don't think Jordan should play with her anymore because no one likes a cheater.

Jazzy9080 Rocks my main issue is that the taskbar tactic isn’t always reliable. Sometimes, it will be delayed. I feel like, more often than not, I’ve been voted off for someone accusing me of “faking a task”, and they’d almost always be wrong, but they’ll act like they had a hunch anyway.

Jordan doesn’t take advantage of lights as impostor. You can dodge an innocents vision very easily.

Jordan as the meeting ends, wait 5 seconds then do reactor then close doors on way back and doors stay up for about 10 seconds. By the time doors go back down kill cooldown is up and its easy clap.
