Here are some notes as I watch this video - from another tutorial maker and educator, hoping to help another video maker become even better. (These are the things I would fix if I were editing this video.) Please receive all this input in the "for what it's worth" department. ► One of the first things you say is "...here on this track..." while showing the full program without zooming. It would help to somehow emphasize WHATEVER you're doing, especially when you say "here" and do something. A rectangle callout or a quick zoom to the track header would work. ► A LOT of "uh"s in this one. There is AI software that will remove those for you, or you could manually edit them out. ► Need to temporarily zoom in on the cursor when demonstrating left click scaling. Otherwise, there's too much clutter on the screen. ► It might also be good to mention the context menu - instead of dragging an effect onto a clip, right click the effect and select "Add to selected clip" ► You say, "...come up here to the cursor path..." HERE WHERE?? Need emphasis - callout or zooming. Without emphasis, it's a bit difficult to follow where "here" is. ► Where you click on "Finish editing," I paused the video, zoomed WAY in, and played it back five times, and I still could not see where you clicked. This is a certain way to frustrate your viewers. Keep up the great work!

Hey Rob, I just got Camtasia 2024. I've been using Camtasia for some work purposes but mainly recreationally for some time now. I shoot train videos and sometimes these involve people on train platforms, getting on or off the train. I am looking for an efficient way to blur out people's faces. I can do it with the MOTION PATH animation combined with the BLUR annotation. Plotting all the points along the path to keep the blurred region over the person's face is a lot of work. Is there any easier way to do this? Thanks for all your videos, they've been a real help. Oh, and while I am born and raised in the U.S. I am quite familiar with "zed" instead of "zee" and I know other Americans who are. It's not hard to catch onto. I am a librarian and it is helpful to say "zed" instead of "zee" to keep it clear from "c" especially.

I know exactly what you're trying to do and as of right now there is no other way to do it besides the way you're doing it... with Motion Path and/or Animations. Having said that, I do know they are working on a "Tracking" system for a future release... but they have no timetable on it. I actually discussed this very topic in my live stream this week (#32) :-)
