Ok, I understand the occasional misplay…but honestly y’all should have refilmed this whole thing. The mothman was VERY wrong and impacted the game majorly due to the misplays.

We would have if this was caught before the final editing review. Unfortunately by that time it's either release the video with a disclaimer or dont have a video for the week.

This actually happened this weekend. Op casted fractured sanity, which "gave" mothman 24 counters. I mentioned that it was busted af, asked to read the card, and he pointed to the x which I skimmed and let it go cause I had a maze of ith. Unfortunate though cause he one shot the Anowan player which could have impacted the game.

I think misreading cards is much more tolerable when you have a disclaimer, like in this video.

One thing of note (like EVERYONE playing these new decks online it seems), when you proliferate a player with multiple types of counters, they get one more of each so energy and rad should go up.

I don't know why everyone is hating on the walking ballista combo. Players are too afraid of combo, even when it's difficult to pull off with a niche commander like rex. The mothman mill was the only thing that made it possible by that turn anyways.

I still don’t see why people don’t use Caesar’s 3rd ability. Knock the mothman player down to 4 so house can finish him off. Doesn’t really matter because the azorius player combo’s off. Again. But 🤷🏻

Basically. Being gated behind energy is rough but getting to use your abilities as many times as you want in a turn without Quicksilver Elemental is good

Between Mothman, House, and Caesar, it's tough for me to find a commander to build with since I love all 3. The wincon with the Doggo was pretty lame though.. I do not like a commander that doesn't need to attack all game and still win.

That's fine if you don't like but I wouldn't call it lame. It's a combo deck gated behind extremely weak cards to try to assemble a Frankenstein monster. It's interesting to see how a deck like that overcomes the challenges presented to it.

The decks seem unbalanced not considering the misplay... Win via random infinite combo when the others don't have one?

The Mr. House deck has an infinite combo. Additionally, the present of a combo doesn't mean it's the best deck at the table. Rex is gated behind energy support cards, which are extremely weak. Caesar was a major threat the entire game despite being the "fairest" deck at the table. Mothman was similarly threatening.
