I remember growing up with Isaac in Issaquah, and he hasn't changed a bit! I stumbled onto a song from a coworker in 2000 not realizing it was him and I loved it! Then the next day I saw his pic in the SF Chronicle when he played at the Filmore and it blew my freaking mind!!!! So I moved from Issaquah in 92 to Half Moon Bay and went to school with Eric Judy!! I used to live right next to the park that his housenis by. Been a fan for 15 years and heard him jamming and singing one night. From then on ever so often i would go to the park to hear him jam. Isaac Brock used to shop at the grocery store I was a cashier at in Portland, Oregon in 2013-2014 and was also my neighbor, I miss him living in Portland and casually coming through my grocery line, it always made my month to see him once in a blue moon, wish I wasn't so starstruck and would have asked him more interesting things though, he is super smart and cool. One time he asked how my day was and I said, "I can't wait to be off work" and he responded, "Yeah, I've only been here 5 minute and I already can't wait to leave here too" LOL I laughed so hard, good news for people who love bad news :)

Man, I hope that their new album has the same vibe as the song they played. It's got a /really/ great sound to it. Sort of dreamy, almost in a way that hearkens back to The Moon and Antarctica, but is distinctly it's own thing. Would be a great change of pace after We Were Dead's rambunctiousness. Yeah, that's right. Rambunctiousness. (I hope Frizzle Frats makes a guest appearance on the new album. Next year!)
