Very nice, is it possible to ring-loop select adjacent faces of a solid when doing draft feature for example?
@DWorkshop Жыл бұрын
Yes, but there it is called "Select Tangency" and works only on tangent faces.

Hi Mam, how do i do it reversely? i mean dividing Polyline into many separate splines?
@DWorkshop13 күн бұрын
Save as DXF, but before saving, in options of dxf export select export all splines as polylines, then you can import the dxf. No other option that comes to my mind.

Fit spline vs Composite Curve?
@DWorkshop Жыл бұрын
Composite Curve is not converting your lines, it just makes SolidWorks read it as continuous contour. In many cases this is exactly what you need. But in many cases of imported DXF you need to convert polylines in splines, which is this tutorial about.

@@DWorkshop Thanks, this was a long time confusion of mine, since for simple Sweeps, both worked the same.

Would love the fit spline to be editable, so that the base sketch can be changed.

That's easy select the spline->right click-> convert to spline or convert to style spline and it becomes editable
