Amazing! It was a really nice display of various materials and skills, would like to see how the eyes were made. I'm thinking of using the gel encapsulated within DS-AF for some orthopedics projects I have.

i think just use EZ-Brush vac silicone will be perfect for making SLIMER !!! its translucent green color!!
@smoothon8 ай бұрын
That's a good thought. We wanted more of an opaque color and there is also some Silc Pig Electric so that Slimer glows under UV light.

How do all these chemicals smell?
@matthewsinclair87519 ай бұрын
You know what's cool? This guy spent over 100 hours making something cool that exists, you know what you did?...nothing.
@smoothon9 ай бұрын
Smell can be hard to say. Some materials have no odor and some can have an odor. It will all depend on the specific material.

The reason why one would use silicone would be for movement or realistic translucency of flesh. For this prop, as in the original in the film, Latex is what should be used to construct this . Using silicone where they very properties of silicone are not need is wasteful and unnecessary.
@smoothon8 ай бұрын
There are a number of different ways to make these props. We used silicone because it will last much longer than latex but it also gives us very realistic feeling fatty tissue areas as well as the increased physical properties of the silicone. There are always many different ways to make these amazing pieces and we love the process! Thanks for watching!
