Literally might be my favorite thing Smosh has done this year. I can't tell you how many times I've watched this. And it's no one thing -- it's George's incredible storytelling, the cast's dynamics, the next level improv, the sound editing, all of it!! I can't praise this series enough!

I am really glad they edited out the video cuts (they've left them in in the past), but I wish they added things for comps that were edited out or something to give more of a reason to watch these. Like I thought the reddit stories one was going to have added commentary or discuss fan responses to certain ones, but it was just the straight videos

Just going to say this, as a relatively new viewer/subscriber of Smosh and all their channels… I understand that it might be frustrating to not have a brand new video when you’re expecting one, but a) this is S-tier content, especially if you’ve not seen them all before, and b) there are so many other things to rewatch from their back catalogue (especially the TNTLs, they bear rewatching sooooo well) so be chill!! Also, the people behind Smosh are people too - please stop being so mean to them just for being human and needing to take care of their staff members and not work them to the bone!! Anyhoo happy spooky season, this is freakin genius content to release in October 👍

@@mason5789 they literally released a new pit video today and have a new games video coming out tomorrow, plus are releasing bit city, reddit stories and both podcasts all the time, as well as streaming from time to time, i’m sure fans who actually appreciate the amount of time, money and energy that goes into every single shoot can cope with a comp of an incredibly well done rpg series that deserves more views rather than a whole new video every once in a while, plus the new games vid is halloween themed for october, as was smosh mouth this monday and a bunch of their other content the past few days and presumably next week to fit the october halloween theme, us fans are truly getting fed all the time, i personally see no reason to complain!! :3

When Courtney asks if they're try harding it, it made me a little sad because they were a powerhouse on this, super creative decisions, smart plays and every time she took the spotlight it was because it was appropriate for her character arc and the overall narrative! Sharing the space is hard, but she did the damn thing. Honestly I would love to see them play DND or other ttrpg with some more resources! Maybe something like Kids On Bikes would be an amazing match.

I kinda agree. I know some people didn't like how long it took for the first pull in part one so I can see why they pushed it a bit more in the Aliens one. But the good thing with not going too hard on the pulls was that we got such a full story. I like both ways for different reasons. I kinda like that the Alien one happened how it did (as harsh as it was). But this one has a soft spot for me

Shayne REALLY needs to do this on one of their new games with this ruleset: His very first action where he has to pull a tile, with SUPER low stakes and maybe even being the very first person to go so there's literally no risk, he needs to do the Heroic Sacrifice and knock the whole thing over on purpose. I have watched this video over and over the past week, idk maybe it’s cuz I didn’t see the original episodes when they were coming out but I think I still would keep watching this anyway. I love getting to see the whole story come together like this and this whole campaign is super funny and entertaining. I especially love the way Amanda and Courtney play their characters, every choice they make had me rooting for them. The “pull for misogyny” bit had me rolling laughing every time it happened. I have never seen this person GM before but just from this alone I LOVE his gm style and he told such a compelling story even in this shorter form. I would love to see the smosh gang doing more TTRPG stuff like this in the future, they really get to show off their acting chops with this! And I learned about this game system too which is so awesome because I have very little DND stuff and getting ahold of more is a bit pricey, but EVERYONE has an old Jenga set collecting dust somewhere. I just love things that make TTRPG more accessible. Thank you smosh for putting this video together!! I love it!
