Among my mom’s favorites! And although _The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour_ aired a few years before I was born, she owned many of their l.p.’s, so growing up in the 1970s I was able to laugh along to those on our family’s little record-player. And people were still talking about and referencing the Smothers Brothers for much of my childhood, plus my grandmother and my great-aunt loved them too … so the Smothers Brothers’ influence spans generations! What a force for good they are. For as long as is needed, may they continue to inspire.

My brother began working with Jennifer Warnes in the late 70s. When I met her I told her how jealous I had been that she got to sing with Donovan. I also told her I therefore resented "Jennifer Juniper". She laughed and let me know it wasn't about her, it was about Patti Boyd's sister Jenny. Oops.
