Chris! I know you love tobacco fragrances, you probably don't smoke but buy a box of MEHARIS cigars in the red box, open and smell, they are literally WOW so nice, even being smoked they literally smell beautiful, I'm not saying you should start smoking but you can be extremely inspired by the aroma.

2 verdicts from my side 🤔🤷‍♂️ A. This is more pricey than PDM Carlisle & Herod not to mention a Mancera B. On few UK 🇬🇧 fragrances groups are 3 different people selling this for 90£ thinking the release date probably a blind buy which gone wrong So for a blind buy is way to risky for most people considering the price

I think that’s why they did the 10ml one which is a great way to try it first and I would always recommend that. Like I pointed out in the video if my wife had purchased blind I don’t think she would have kept it either so it’s always a risk.

To be fair ATH fragrances is more high quality than PDM to my nose. It uses high quality in his perfumes. So in that sense, I think its reasonbly priced. I can guarantee if his fragrances come in Roja or Xerjoff bottle they would cost at least £350. That's how good they are. Also no comparison to Mancera as everyone knows Manceras are highly synthetic and it's an entry level 'niche'.

@@AHK206 ya my brother have 5 or 6 different ATH bottles and he’s a big fan of the guy more than his perfumes but for average people which are most… his fragrances aren’t nothing wow, end of the day ATH is overrated by his friends & followers and way to expensive from a business perspective

Is it pricier than Carlisle? Per bottle it's not? Per ml I think they're similar? But yeah, i would recommend sampling it first. My wife doesn't like anything with a smokey note....

Hey man, I just stumbled upon your channel because I was looking for reviews of this. I think you did a great job. I have been wearing this for about a week now, and I am really liking it more every time I wear it. So much that I'm seriously considering buying a backup bottle. I wanted to get a good nose's take on this because I'm really excited about this frag, but there's not much out there right now. My Smoulder arrived yesterday, doing a full wear today, the opening reminded me about orange aswell, we have a orange-cola flavored juiceboxes here in Finland and it is very similar of that, delicious warmth is accompanied throughout the lifecycle. Big love for me 💯

Good Review.. interesting to hear other opinions on this fragrance, just got my sample 3 days ago and taking my time with this one to formulate my opinion.. first impressions the dry down is similar to Interlude man .. but not as strong..

I like Maxaroma for their travelers good way to sample frags. Also the only US dealer of ATH.

Maybe it has carrot seed as that aniseed like note? Carrot seed has a light orris/iris luke quality but it comes across red-ish. Like a floral with an amber nuance

I got a sample and although i dont dislike it, i just found it to be like Enigma but lighter. On my skin also i couldnt smell it without digging my nose right in.

Based on this review i wouldn't hesitate blind buying. Having smelled it myself though, it just confirmed why you should only listen to your nose, and not frag reviews.

​@@Fragdicted I think there's a lot of frags, women don't like, and on the odd occasion we might compromise to keep them happy, like once in every 365 days, but girls not liking smoulder is actually no surprise to me. Considering all the praise it had, i would expect it to be well above the level of a TF private blend, but it really isn't. I was completely neutral towards ATH but having smelled a few of his works just very recently together with smoulder, all i had on my face was a big question mark.

I like Chris & Aaron but for me I'm glad I sampled this before blind buying as its a miss for me, bit overpriced and nothing ground breaking but I guess if its just for Chris and he likes it then fair enough.
